Anita couldn't list three games that had misogyny in them. Looks like Johnny boy forgot to brief her beforehand about that.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think I speak for all of us when I say I believe that awareness has been spread through major media outlets, the BBC, Colbert report, regardless of their stance. People will make their own decisons, many not caring but many join the ranks of both ends- at this point only one thing is certain - this will get bigger, day by day, month by month. Whether anybody will care or what side they would be on is a different question entirely, it is in this sense I call upon everyone to keep a cool head, remain vigilant and make sure that you are on topic, distraction will lead to ruin. The storm has begun, and I was bored when I wrote this.

I haven't watched it. Was she really unable to say 3 games that were misogynistic? If so, that is fucking great.

I've lost my respect for Colbert, this is the first time one of my idols has betrayed me and it hits pretty hard. It looks like they did no researched and deferred to Anita on what the situation was about.

Anyway, Anita's appearance on Colbert may or may not be a step backwards, but let's not forget that just a few hours ago TotalBiscuit made some serious progress with his chat with Stephen Totilo, which I consider two steps forward.

This is a month by month kind of thing. This wont end any time soon, every time it's threatened to die down more fuel was added to the fire, and continues to be added. When the court cases of Eron vs ZQ, and that lawyer suing for libel or slander or whatever come through in a few months it'll all kick up again. to be honest colbert kinda was being neutral but started failing hard at that near the end of the segment before anita came out. you can pinpoint where the whole segment goes to shit.

I must admit I've so fallen out of gamergate and I'm sorry about all that I mean I really am on your side it's just there's so much and it's hard to keep up with all of it and pretty much everyone I know is vehemently pro-anita and anti-gamergate so I've kinda been silent about it
