If people are having loss of faith or however people are tired, go back read the past. Read how it started and what we found. Read who has suffered long before and how they dealt with their problems. I had to pause on reading Teddy Roosevelt. Also, likability does not mean honesty, and unlikable does not mean dishonest.
Anita appears on Colbert. This appears. Anita supports #CancelColbert. Shocking? Nope.
Just because it's in the tags doesn't mean she's supporting it. It could be she's merely addressing it.
When does the colbert thing aire?
When does the colbert thing aire?
It already did check out the mary sue link further up ,its rather disappointing.
To be honest, I don't think Colbert ever harshly interviews the guest, he always goes along with their view point whatever it is. If the guest sounds dumb it's because of their own fault.
yeah he usually just kinda goes with what they say still is depressing as shit for me though to see anita get more recognition and have her side get more footing i just want all this to stop, i would really like to go back to when I could play games and think about games and not feel terrified by the stuff surrounding them
Yeah, I doubt it'll be a roast. Colbert's persona on that show is a satire on conservative thoughts, so he's going to use that to take on what he thinks will be GG's viewpoint and set up Anita to make whatever retorts she has and everyone will applaud because "misogyny". These things are pre-recorded, right? She seemed pretty confident in her tweets. If it's pre-recorded, then that's pretty much proof that this is going to be a GG slander piece. God damn, and here I was hoping that TB's chat with Totilo was a sign that things were going to get better.
Colbert makes fun of the leftist too and tears them apart when needed. It's rare though.
this anita stuffs got me wondering there's no end to gamergate is there? I'm gonna sound like a shill but there's really no way to win is there? these people live to get mad at shit and prove others "wrong" it's their raison d'etre and I mean our side is used to grinding the same thing over and over for little reward I don't even know what our goal is anymore topple gawker? make all games run in 60fps? I'm sorry for being a debbie downer but I don't know what to fight for or to belive in.
This article is a good laugh; as back as early September, then anti-GG side said they were winning a culture war against misogynists in regards to women in gaming. I'm guessing she never expected Christina Hoff Sommers to throw her hat in and the rise of women that were for eqaulity instead of the perpertual victimhood peddled by people like McIntosh to come in. We've already proved we still hold the power. They live to serve us, not the other way around, and they've been faced with that reminder and it scares them. We need to leave them no ground to go to, we may not be able to make their names infamous to the general public, but we can absolutely insure they cannot make it in this industry. [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] The movement is still staying incredibly reserved with its potential to damage them. But if they keep pushing the wrong buttons that will absolutely change.

It's about rooting out chickenshit journalists and hopefully make them abide by a new standard. No more dev-journo relationships, not in AAA or the indie scene. No paid reviews. No reporting done from "feeling". Promote objective reporting and journalism. Shut down shitty pseudo-"journalist" blog sites. Remember that the real counter-active force are people who stand to lose a great sum of money. The people following them are useful idiots who would gobble down anything as long as it's stamped with "feminism", not really caring that they themselves are the biggest bigots, the most massive misogynists, and the real rabid racists.
Perhaps better put: They'll go looking for monsters under their beds, and they'll find them.
Well, looks like the Colbert Report gave the hashtag a pretty decent bump
The hashtag is currently pretty much flooded with informative/nonthreatening pro #GG stuff (including those nice trading cards that appeared on gamergate.me), with some interspersed questions and some fairly rigid anti #GG tweets. I think I can see what the average person (caring about some issues involved in this) would do when walking in on this.
Trey and Matt both seem like gamers actually. The video game references on South Park are oddly specific.
They both play xbox in their spare time and don't hide that fact [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] ++ The SP video game was done within their vision unlike others that came before it, they seem to be more into rpgs if anything cause they can do that pretty well
Sargon builds up to discussing epic art piece and how it symbolises GG's fight. [t]http://i.imgur.com/3RylAHH.jpg[/t]
Artwork is pretty lame tbh
Artwork like that comes off as childish to me, honestly. In a movement where your image is so tarnished already it certainly doesn't help.
Artwork like that comes off as childish to me, honestly. I think some shitty artwork won't make things any worse than they already are.
Did you guys watch the video? Even if you didn't like the art critique (which was only like, the last 4 minutes of the video), I really liked it as a summary of what's been going on and describing gamers and the corruption and harassment we're against. Minus the last 4 minutes, this will be the video I show to outsiders who are willing to put in the time to listen to more than just #GamerGate in 60 seconds
no i didn't watch the video
no i didn't watch the video
well, watch it when you get a chance and tell us what you think. The first 20 minutes aren't just some "build up" but a pretty damn good presentation of our point of view on this issue. it's not perfect, and my short-term memory is preventing me from remembering if GameJournosPros was even mentioned in the video, but I like it. [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] Actually, if anyone's showing the video to other people, you could replace those last 4 minutes with these 4 minutes. It presents the same exact point Sargon was trying to make (that we're a diverse group fighting for the hobby we love) but blows his method out of the water. http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/sarkeesian-and-colbert-report-dismantle-gamergate-in-late-night-us-tv-spot/0140636 Ugh, really fucking disappointed with one of the news sites I go on. Been reading it for about five years now and I never thought they would publish this bullshit. I'm going to be adding them to my hosts file in just sheer disgust.
Haven't see this so... https://8chan.co/gg/res/338046.html#q339335
That's the main reason I like TB. Like him or not, the man doesn't bullshit you. I appreciate his honesty in an industry where lying and misinformation are considered tools of the trade.
Has anyone else noticed that whenever shit goes down, its the gamers fault. Like when people called EA out on their shit, EA called gamers Anti-LGBT, or when people said that the ending to Mass Effect 3 was bad, gamers were called entitled.
I'd love to do a 3rd stream on saturday, thought of maybe reducing the estimate length to 60 minutes max, focusing on what happened in the week. Any ideas? edit:
Fun way to start your morning is look at some of the messages Anthony Burch got recently, to remind you the world's still full of scumbags.
For fuck's sake, Jim. Get your shit together.
should I host a stream thrusday? mentioned 2min screen time the interviews from the person on tyt network boogie on event tb interview colbert I bet if a far enough people join a stream I would host we could talk just two subjects for hours. The TB interview I could go on and on and I bet you there will be more to talk about saturday.
Sounds good. I'll get on Steam in a few moments.
I'm really hoping TB's talk with Totilo opens up discussion with the bigger names. Hell, if he somehow manages to talk with Anita Sarkessian, that would be awesome, though I doubt McIntosh would allow that.

Also where is the paper that shows millennials are more tolerant of LGBT and races? Oh and I'm going to get on stream today to talk about Boogie's chat with event or if people get and on want to talk about TB's recent interview. starting at 12 or 1pm PST.
