It was streamed, people saw it, the only logical way to diminish the effect is to proceed with posting it so people can't lie about it.

It undermines the mistake by making a joke of it. If he went "OH god shit" then that would be exposing the weakness.
While he may have made a jawdropping mistake, now isn't the time to be dragging on it.
I am quite pissed off as well but we need to keep moral up. It is frankly the only resource we need and by lingering on this topic we risk losing it.

It was still in ways GG related. I don't want an apology because it does nothing, tbh this doesn't affect me but it affects the entire movement. Regardless of the relations or context of the stream it does tremendous amounts of damage on the movement and telling people to "lol move on scrubs" is not what is going to happen.
If an anti-gger did this, you guys would be on top of this faster than horse flies on shit. Just because these guys are our "heroes" doesn't mean we can toss these events out and pretend nothing happened, that's fucking childish
