The indie gaming scene is absolutely HSH 2.0. Peer rushing, conformity checks, shaming, echo chamber megaphoning, refusal to see any side but the one you picked as the cool one.

This strengthens my opinion of Edmund is the best indie dev out there. It really feels like he makes games because that's what he is passionate about, unlike most other indie devs who feel like they do it for fame or some sort of hipster street cred.
