Whatever it is, it's being operated by Eva fans. Seeleops.org is a link on sol6.
It might just be a bunch of people screwing around I think, judging by the hashtags.

Whatever. We'll see what Operation Codename: Maria is... Wednesday, next week I guess.
Anyone who does not know what solution 6 is = shill.
This cannot go wrong.
It may also be a countdown for a mass charity run, I think? It's hard to say given the goofy secrecy of solution 6.
Somewhat related: It seems that Yogscast did a video for Assassin's Creed Unity which Ubisoft paid them to do, but throughout it they apparently never experienced any bugs or glitches or any of the other issues everyone else has had.
The guy who does community management for NerdCubed complained about this, and a lot of people started hating on him. https://twitter.com/Mattophobia/status/533473967156527104
So NerdCubed did a Tumblr post about it, and I think it makes a good point about ethics in regards to Youtubers: http://nerdcubedactually.tumblr.com/post/102796259764
This is largely true. The press doesn’t get what YouTubers do in much the same way my mum doesn’t get what YouTubers do. We’re mostly not reviewers, we’re entertainers.
But…
"When DanNerdCubed played Race The Sun and linked our Greenlight page, it had a bigger impact than all of the website coverage we’d had up to that point, combined."
- Aaron San Filippo, creator of Race the Sun
"I’m not really aware of any games site for whom coverage of your game will result in an immediately noticeable sales spike, but I have seen that with a YouTube Let’s Play."
- Cliff Harris of Postitech Games
"Skate 3 gets reprinted following its recent YouTube popularity"
- Eurogamer
Out of the top 6 highest rated curators on steam 4 are YouTubers, 2 are traditional press.
This is my problem with all of this right now. YouTubers are simultaneously the most trusted source for game recommendations and simultaneously not “journalism” enough to be held accountable for a whole manner of things.
If the definition of press has changed thanks to YouTubers can’t the definition of journalism also change?
I'm inclined to agree, Youtubers should not be free of ethical standards. Just because they may be entertainers does not mean they do not have an influence on the purchasing habits and general views of their audience the same as any other site. Its kinda like going "We're bloggers, not journalists." If you hold the power to sway others so heavily, you should expect people to ask that you remain ethical.

Okay, yeah, Solution 6 is just a big joke to screw with GG opposers.
Its mainly to mess with the Anti side, and also to just have quite a bit of fun for the pro side.
Solution is a nazi word guise
Literally nazis
(Sorry for non-contrbituing posts, I sometimes cannot keep track of events)

wait, did yogscast seriously get paid to give AC:U a big fat thumbs up?
wait, did yogscast seriously get paid to give AC:U a big fat thumbs up?
They certainly got paid to give the game coverage. Whether or not that meant "Good coverage only" is a matter of debate.
I wouldn't be surprised if Yogscast did. They've made countless amounts of Minecraft videos after all.

Why are they talking like that.
i think GG is slowly expanding to tech journalism in general because of stuff like this

I'd be more surprised if they didn't take money to promote Ass Unity

They should've done that in Aurebesh for more confusion, seeing as NATO alphabet is more-or-less recognizable.

Oh, well, guess I was wrong about it not being confusing :v:

I think you've misinterpreted me, I know what they're doing, the the question actually was "Do they think AGG is so fucking stupid they don't know what they're saying, and what are they trying to accomplish?"

Level headed as always.
Yeah I feared something like this would happen (in a way, I was sure it'll happen and I think I even said so at some point). With the amount of personal information floating around it was a matter of time. Now it just depends on level-headed approach with people not fucking picking it up and running with it as "proof" to something, blaming the whole world and then some.
I wish the victim all well and would've been glad to help if I could. For the GG though, as it stands, the whole situation is the ultimate test for the community Gamergate formed. One thing I know for certain, if that would've been the opposing site, that would've been on CNN hours ago. Which means the community is at least not total shit, can't help but appreciate all the good people.

I doubt most aggers are paranoids tho.

They're having fun for the sake of it. Haven't you noticed how obnoxious the whole thing is?
I doubt most aggers are paranoids tho.
Most of them are using social justice as a shield to bully.
They're bullies, they're paranoid as fuck.
Didn't r/Gamerghazi freak out about the #solution6 thing last night?
Either way, doesn't really matter.
I would like to kinda go back to the topic of ethics in regards to Youtubers though.
Youtubers get payed to play games, hell pewdiepie gets payed a fuckton just to play games its not as dishonest as paying for good reviews but some disclosure is needed.
how is the situation with ABC or the CBC going? Have they said anything about their bias and parroting MSNBC at all?
