So basically an anonymous drop box for whistle-blowing? I think there's even a ready-made kit to set up a site like that by now :v: (I at least assume so due to how many WikiLeaks clones there are out there.) [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] This is annoying me too. It seems that (excluding resolution) it's going to be better but I fear that it will have less support than the Rift because it's less well-known... but then again it's not that difficult to hook into the API and make Rift games at least mostly compatible from what I've heard about the interface. The only potential big issue I see is if one of the trackers required custom prediction in the game software to work well. Technical Illusions seems to be a lot quieter than the competition though, so it's possible that the journalists are just extremely lazy and not properly keeping track of the developments in the sector.
CastAR (the AR/VR glasses coming out of the valve patent), at the moment requires unity pro for interface while rift has mentioned unity will support it at base. Then with ties still at valve openVR is supposed to support it. On a side note, the algorithms for tracking are in hardware so you just have to grab the cords in either euclidean or quaternion, one of the things CastAR will have (I forget the details which more will come out in the future) is that it's able to run on mobile devices, demos have worked on the nividia shield. With that said, they are a small start up company so going anti-gg (please don't) or pro-gg can kill the company. Best if they were neutral with no comment, sadly.
can I see the numbers?
It's by the size of the box
It's by the size of the box
Judging by numbers 4 and 5 that can't be related.
Then with ties still at valve openVR is supposed to support it.
It's called SteamVR now, and has been for quite a while.
IGDA is officially endorsing that twitter blocklist on github. Mike and Adam Baldwin took notice. Mike is offering pro bono work if your in Cali and on that list, and Baldwin is asking IGDA about it on twitter.
TB is leading the polls for "Trending Gamer" By a large margin too. Fuck yeah
Really surprises me that PewDiePie isn't taking lots of votes considerin his fanbase & that tellin them to vote for him would probably make the fans flock
This is fucking nuts. It seems like within a month, extremist SJs' true nature is becoming more obvious to the people they claim to represent, and now they've basically slandered 1,000s of people. These people are slowly killing themselves. I had no idea that some idiot practicing infidelity would've lead to extremist SJs slowly being discredited. I never expected things to unravel like they have.
And it's about time it happened. About bloody time.
What a way to maybe start off 2015, eh?

They just want to watch his videos. Fans of people like people like TB and Jeff are more likely to vote because they're more invested in their success.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate some Gamergate art? Such as the People of Gamergate art by Toshi. (nsfw at bottom)

I was told that KFC is on the blocklist too. Chicken causes misogyny, everyone.
people should tweet the pope, I was tempted to write to the pope and see if he would reply but if he would write back under the hashtag gamergate they would ban the voice of god more or less.
can I just say that I used to really hate TB. I found him obnoxious, a little spergy over games, unpleasant, and kind of a cunt. but ever since his stint with cancer I've found him to be way, way better of a person. more reasonable, kinder, and generally alright. I'm thinking that it just really grounded the dude. as you'd expect cancer to do. beforehand I would have said he's a terrible dude to represent gamers, now i'd say he's a damn good one.

He's gotten better at not saying stupid shit, but I don't think much has changed. He's always been a bit of an impulsive dickhead and has gone off the deep end multiple times, yet even before the cancer he was at least aware of and acknowledged his fuckups even apologising for many of them. Simply acknowledging that you fucked up is such a rare thing in internet communities that it's worth recognition. For all the stupid dickheads around, he's at least one of the better dickheads.
Well judging on what he was saying about his own behavior, his erm, cunt-ness was related more to the strain that was put on him by the audience. So it's not like his character really changed, he just switched his manners of dealing with stuff. So he was a good dude all along. That coincided with cancer, but I'm pretty sure it started with him distancing from his audience a bit.
