Well far better than gaming media, that's for sure. While, like any other media piece there is, they won't publish something that outright goes against their agenda and narrative (which is why disclaimers like "The statements, views and opinions expressed in this column are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of RT" mean jackshit), authors do get loads of creative freedom on issues that deviate from the main line. Imagine it: fucking blatant political propaganda piece has more to do with creative freedom than independent gaming media. What a beautiful world we live in.

We want games to be a space where everyone feels welcome. We want to play all kinds of games, by all kinds of people. And that's why we politicise games reviews and use Metacritic to try to stamp out games we disagree with.
