I like how they considered her to be a GG victim first, and a game reviewer second.

isn't it generally accepted in social justice circles that a major reason why there are not as many women in stem fields is because they're discouraged by both schools and their families to not take stem classes and not pursue that field?

No, don't you understand? Brianna Wu is absolutely the only qualified person allowed to talk about this, and no 'studies' or 'facts' are going to disprove her opinions!
I love this, the whole DDOSing of this forum has spectacularly backfired on whoever has done it and in fact drawn more attention to this thread. Got to love the Streisand Effect.
Regarding IA, Sargon did this:

I haven't been keeping track of any of the GG stuff that's been going on for the past few weeks/months, but I've found out that a friend of a friend writes for kotaku, but he doesn't seem to be insane from what I've seen
Oh my god I try listening is IA's statement but it's too fucking funny/enraging for me to even sit through it. If someone told me that there was a person in /pol/ that was serious I would've never believed it but Jim is that fucking person.

Can't believe I'm glad to see bikini chainmail in a game. I hate the concept but being bullied into changing your vision is just wrong.

A great and simple look at the contrast between pro- and anti-GG points of view.

With as often as its been invoked during the whole consumer revolt, you'd think AGG would be intimately familiar with the Streisand Effect by now.
Then again, our opponents have shown a complete inability to learn from mistakes, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Maybe it's because I haven't really looked at D:OS but why is this worth mentioning? Something I missed?
3) What does GamerGate want to achieve, in your view?
Well, certainly there’s a more-than-insignificant contingent of it who seeks to legitimize an anti-woman agenda and cover for harassment of prominent women in Gaming such as Zoe Quinn, Anita Sarkeesian, Brianna Wu, Leigh Alexander, and the list goes on. Such people will claim Gamergate was never “about” these people (comically dehumanizing by referring to them as Literally Who #1-9, at last count) while still attacking them, not just with death threats as in the more notorious cases, but with insane accusations such as Zoe Quinn being guilty of murder, for instance. And this portion of Gamergate, it must tragically be acknowledged, has been the one actually getting things done.
They REALLY think it's all about harassment and anti-woman in gaming, why is it so hard to convince them it isn't? I mean, if there is any proof of it not, look at our forum.

This proves more than anything that they haven't done the research.

They were forced to cover up the midriff with the logo because of assholes complaining about how a midriff is sexist and objectifying. The fact that they've changed it back to showing the midriff now of all times is, well, interesting to say the least.

I also believe some publications threatened to not give the game any coverage had they not changed it
The artist who made it was harrassed and got sent death threats per usual
Basically D:OS was the first victim of SJWs bullying developers to have games suit their tastes.
