Instead, they managed to coagulate and turn in to the mess we have now. And they get backing because as a collective they sound convincing, the group can talk over the faults of the individuals. They make it so no one can see the trees through the forest, so to speak.

There is no social justice, there is either justice or injustice. The fact you have to put a qualifier on a basic human concept suggests there is an agenda driving it. Secondly social justice is really the millennial generation's cultural marxism - before we have our token poster who thinks I'm talking about a conspiracy to subtly enslave the world or whatever the fuck, I'm not. I'm talking about actual cultural marxism - using marxist critical theory to define the world. The inherent problem with critical theory is that you can overanalyze literally anything and you will always arrive at the answer you were already looking for. It has no verifiability, no basis in logic, reason or any familiarity with sound science. Therefore, if you operate from a perspective that something is sexist/classist/ableist/insert your pet "ist" here, you will inevitably find exactly that. and the best part is, no proof required! If someone shoots holes in your critique, they must be suffering from ~~~SUBCONSCIOUS~~~ brainwashing, like ~INTERNALIZED MISOGYNY~. The only difference is Marx and his early disciples actually put some work into it, respectable in and of itself even if its misguided. It was complete analysis of economics, politics and social interaction. This is really like the kiddy pool of critical theory, not only misguided and divorced from reality, but really fucking lazy too. Somehow though, it beats the old hands in sheer fanaticism.

Let's not pick apart the name 'social justice'. It's just a name that is used to specify it from criminal justice, in the same way that 'civil rights' was used to specify that it's about equal rights, not human rights or any other usage of the word rights.
