And then Devi Ever entered the conversation.
Imagine taking David Draiman's tweets and making a madlibs-esque Disturbed song out of them.

Wait, I thought solution 6 was just a hashtag full of junk to mess with the AGG. What's all this?

maybe the end of indiefund and igf
I cant open the zip on my netbook what does it contain?
Supposedly there are addresses in there
I could understand just having a list of e-mails of indie devs to contact, but this doesn't look good
Addresses all appear to be censored respectfully apart from one which it notes as publicly available.
It looks like it's primarily regarding Fez.
is it addresses of the game studios and offices that are publicly available, or someone matched up contact info from someones username?
One is doxxing one is not.

as far as i have read there are only publicly available addresses, all private addresses are blacked out
[editline]8th December 2014[/editline]
atleast in the zip
I haven't touched the pdf's or the excel files.
The only address that is shown is one that is displayed on their own website.
this makes "follow the money" really easy tbh
I cant open the zip on my netbook what does it contain?
Five folders regarding 12 payments, sale reports and royalty reports from Sony, Humble, GOG and Steam, price dictations, loan evidence, e-mails, a folder called "shadow indie fund". Looking at the files, it seems that all "private" information (private as in the kind of information that would allow doxxing, such as non-public addresses, phone numbers, private/personal e-mail addresses, in which case only the domain is given, many times it's just gmail.com) is blacked out.
In summary, that's a whole artillery of shit directed right at Fez, Polytron and IGF.
There is no possible way they can get out of this mess with no scars.

First it was exactly that. We acted like we were up to something with it until everyone realized the name didn't mean anything and it was a joke. Now that we're buzzing about Solution 6 again, it'll take them a few moments to realize there's actually something behind it now.
This is why you dont throw gas on a fire.
How long until AGG tries to spin this as harrasment against women and how would they even do it?
Didn't all of the IGF/IndieFund reveal stuff happen a while back. Like August. Is this different or is there more info cause it looks the same from a quick glance. And before it didn't really gain any real traction. Like a handful of judges out of a pool of thousands had financial connections to IndieFund, but its not like the IGF was set up as a front to prop up IndieFund games like some had eluded to.
I mean there's enough evidence to invalidate IGFs credibility, but it's not the bombshell people were hoping for is it? Wasn't the FBI involved with racketeering charges earlier in August or September?
Edit:
Apparently the original sources have been removed but heres a Escapist thread talking about them

this is basically all the evidence and the plan is to show it to devs who have participated in the IGA that it is not a fair competition, i think

God damn. And it didn't even require patreon money.
I posted above
Basically
/pol/ kept calling moot a cuck (cuckold) -> /pol/ack actually finds photo on social media that suggests his girlfriend is cheating on him with another dude, on publicly available social media no less -> thread explodes in people twisting their nipples to the sheer schadenfraude of the situation -> boards go offline for hours - > come back up with moot saying captcha is disabled an that people should test it out by flooding /pol/ and /pol/acks find out that they've been word filtered to fuck.
A picture other than this one:
http://www.funnyjunk.com/Moot+confirmed+for+ntr/funny-pictures/5311066
which has been circulating for a few months?

I'm not sure, I wasn't hanging around before the boards went down.
All I'm sure of is that the word filters and the captchaless is definitely a new change.
[editline]8th December 2014[/editline]
in case anyone wondering here are the currently known filters:
cuck -> cluck
Moot -> CEO of Troll Inc.
/pol/ -> tumblr (and vice versa)
racewar -> love and tolerance
free -> hot pockets
jew -> happy merchant
mods -> dubs
It could just be moot having fun, but given that he specifically wants people to flood /pol/ I'm guessing they finally pissed him off enough. The only reason he hasn't deleted it is because /pol/ would just flood other boards in retaliation, which seems to be what is happening on /s4s/ right now
He'd be fucking stupid to "have fun" on /pol/ because that's not how /pol/ is going to interpret it. If he wants to fuck around he should do it somewhere that will believe him when he claims not to have any malicious intent.

post in pol "/pol/ was right along".
Also I hope section 6 dosen't hurt the fbi investigation.
Am I the only one who believes /pol/ is just a pain in the ass anyway?
To me it seems like they do nothing but provide ammunition to opponents.

What ammo?
"JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THIS RACIST SHIT I FOUND ON /POL/"
Its a good way to identify sensitive souls who are new to the internet and/or are grasping for straws.
I don't know about you personally, but for me, its important that places like /pol/ exist for the same reason I'm completely comfortable with having imageboards full of anonymous people posting occasionally vile things.
Its important the internet remains for lack of a better description, anarchic. And yes that means you're going to come across stuff that is vile, stuff that is repulsive and stuff that challenges your worldviews.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
[editline]8th December 2014[/editline]
also believe it or not, /pol/ is frequently hilarious. Yes I'm serious, some of the most subversive humor you will find on 4chan comes out of /pol/
Take /pol/ away and all youve got left for edgy humor is /b/ and thats a sad state of affairs. Lol i said niggerfaggot guys! so funny!!
Is it that time again?

No, I mean that half this battle will be about winning sympathy with the public. You have little support in the media, so you need to be careful with your image. You don't gather support by cracking holocaust jokes and going full conspiracy nut on people.

I thought we already established gamergate isn't really a "group" per se, we don't have to have lockstep uniform opinions and collusion about putting on a public narrative. And beyond that - its a moot (lol) point; /pol/ has little to nothing to do with gamergate beyond the fact there is a loud retard who calls himself kingofpol who talks about gamergate

Or, convince enough of the public to matter that ideas should be evaluated individually, and that guilt by association isn't acceptable and all that. This also has a lot more... wide reaching... long term positive effects even if you get a magnitude fewer people.
It's not like you'll be able to out-pr war the entire mainstream and gaming media in a traditional method anyways. Like what would you suggest, murdering /pol/ like moot and then what? it doesn't even help if your successful, since everyone in gamergate is already attributed with every negative stereotype in existence.
Quoting myself from earlier in the thread:
the entire opposition to gamergate is based on the fallacy of guilt by association. You guys are getting it your wires crossed when you say that "they make us look bad". Is guilt by association a valid way to think or not? If it's not, then tell anyone who gives a fuck to fuck off.
This isn't a PR war we can win by attempting to use the same tactics and mindset. We can't just spin the truth as they do and raw fact alone often gets dismissed, if you convince people that an entire way of looking at is is wrong by explanation, that's a whole lot more effective, people like to understand things. What's held this together is objective reasoning against an immeasurably stupid force and there's no reason to stop now.
Yeah, good luck with that. You'll solve world hunger before that happens.

Idk, I think guilt by association IS what's going to bite them in the ass, especially if more celebrities like David Draimon start seeing what it truly is.
