I can see into the future. But only for really unimportant shit.
But for realsises, an isometric shooter in a contemporary setting that doesn't seem to do anything new (gratuitous violence has been done to the death, civilian casualties much the same) doesn't really strike me as a game that's going to have any real wow factor. Just shock value that is less shocking and more embarrassing (man that monologue should go down in history for how cheesy it was).
Unless they attempt to turn the whole thing on its head with some big reveal, but people have been predicting that since the announcement so it's not even going to be that amazing a thing.
But it does have okay looking visuals going for it.
Why does a game need to be exceptional? We shouldn't default to bad when we're presented with something that isn't special. There's nothing wrong with calling something mediocre.

The visuals are rather nice for their funding.
I know that the only reason I have GTA4 installed is so that I can load up the police mod and go on a rampage. I do enjoy some mindless games like that, they can be fun for short periods of time. Someone would probably say that type of game is childish and I'm less intelligent for enjoying mindless killing and explosions. But at the same time I have a rather large collection of Interactive Fiction titles as well as a nice enough Dorf Fortress to look after and a DCSS Sp:En to play. It may not be a game you like but that does not make it a bad game, we wont know until it is released.
I would be somewhat surprised however, if they release the game and it has no content other than shooting people because it's edgy.
Regardless, if the game is released and it's garbage then I'll be right alongside you in saying so.
New developer and a new IP, I think I'll see what happens before I pass judgement.
Send an email back telling them that you're glad Abbott cut their funding if you want to be a cunt. Don't actually do that though.

If I remember right, the devs said a portion of the game would be dedicated to showing the reasons why the protagonist went insane. For all we know, it could be a story driven game with an intentionally "shocking" trailer for some free advertisement.
I wonder if ABC will ever listen to their complaints. I've noticed a fairly large drop in quality in the past few years and the passing off of several year old footage as new.
Despite a mixture of views online about what #GamerGate means, the games industry and media professionals we spoke to believed the movement had come to be more associated with harassment than whatever its initial intentions may have been. Some journalists and developers were reluctant to go on camera out of fear of being targeted online.
Oh I wonder why that happened!
Audience and Consumer Affairs are satisfied that it was an entirely legitimate editorial decision for 7.30 to focus on the aspects of GamerGate which are associated with harassment and online attacks against women. This is newsworthy and of public interest. GamerGate’s association with ethics in games journalism was mentioned briefly in the story; it was not necessary for the program to examine this aspect of GamerGate in detail to achieve impartiality. The program sought a diversity of perspectives on the subject of sexism and misogyny associated with GamerGate and gaming more broadly, which were duly presented in the program.
Oh... maybe that's because all the media just decided to focus on «this aspect of GamerGate controversy»?!
it seems like they're saying that they were only covering the misogyny of gamergate, not gamergate itself, so its ok
which is retarded logic
There's not much use going to the ACMA as this wasn't a huge issue I'd bother to chase up but their explanation makes no sense
Not happy with the response, maybe the budget cuts are a good thing
So GMShivers, creator of Seedscape, revealed this while arguing with OC Blibian Blames.

free coverage. Hot pockets be dammed!
Did she ever reveal which writer she was referring to?
Well not like we didn't know this already but it's nice to have proof that LWu will believe anything without questions

I can only imagine how many of these she's getting, I had half in mind of doing this myself for giggles

Unless the email is cryptographically signed it's problematic (actually) to do something like that.

Ferguson is a real hot issue in the world right now, so we decided to write a story: "Ferguson: Facing poor fashion choices in modern America", all about the clothes protestors are wearing.

The bigger problem is when journalists do this.
Does anyone have a link/picture of that boy tweeting that making fun of everything (implying that even feminism) is a comedian's job, and getting mercilessly bullied and threatened for it?
edit: I know it's not GG related but I saw it here first
The bigger problem is when journalists do this.
The even bigger prolem is when journalists do that, because she does this
Now when journalists cite her as a source you can point out how unreliable she is due to being extremely gullible and easy to manipulate, not to mention a patological liar ever since people discovered she wasn't actually driven away from her home. Her credibility (to anyone who's willing to listen to the facts, I'm well aware it won't make a difference to her clique) is now completely gone.

Just watch some of the older animes you might have missed like mnemosyne, or detroit metal city
oh wait those just impune the patriarchy.
And now there's #metalgate....

If anti-metal articles start popping up, just post the album caver for Dawn of the Black Hearts. Tell them no one gives a shit.

Which one was this?
Nothing is sacred.
All entertainment and cultures must cater to my opinions as not to offend me.
If you are angry with this you are a misogynist, racist, bigot and anything else I say.
If somebody sends me a death threat you are all evil, and all responsible.
I could go on and on.
I tried thinking of some crap to go with this but I have no words for these people anymore. I expect to see a lot more cultures attacked - and by then maybe people were realize how bullshit these peoples claims are, pulling the same stuff every culture they go on the offensive to.
