Just need to put something in the middle.. any suggestions? (If you got an image - post a grayscale!)
Also, a better slogan, probably.
For a logo, put a simplified ant head in the centre.
So it seems like no actual corruption news has been found out for awhile, and the wind is kind of taken out of GG's sails. Honestly, in a way, it kind of makes me glad.
This is the call to action letter, which is the first step in a union (if anybody cares) and will be sent out to various websites upon completion. It should be finished by tommorow night, be sure comment and voice your concerns!
If optimal conditions are met in which to start the union (Lots of people, believe me, I'll be SURE to advertise it.), it'll happen, and in which case, people will sign up to be members, request to represent and members will be able to vote on a secure system.
It doesn't matter, it has first of all nothing to do with gamersgate, secondly we made the instantaneous assumption that she was doing something bad simply because shes a "batshit crazy feminist!" - Which makes us just as bad as them. Stop making assumptions and verify that your claims, not rumors - are correct. It could very well be paint - sure - but we have no proof of that and have no right to assume that, as they have no right to assume we are a hate group and they have no proof or right to assume that.
We have no reason to give them attention or ammo, do something about it in your private life if you think they are guilty.
I never made the assumption based on the fact shes a radfem, I came to the conclusion that it's paint, because it looks like fucking paint. Dye and paint are two VERY different things and they don't look similar, unless you're blind. They also both affect fur very differently. Regardless, I'm not going to argue how to identify the difference between to vastly different substances.
Late on the FTC news
I'd rate myself late if I could.

PETA would probably kill it... Anything's better without them, really.
I do hope that the correct authorities get involved so she's at least slapped with a fine to make her stop.
I'm not convinced on the reasons behind spreading the whole dog thing. This is high-school level thought patterns.
And if I recall correctly, isn't PETA actually one of the worst organizations to exist? What the hell is going on?
Imo we should spread the dog issue because it's legitimately fucked up, not to gain any kind of credence within GG. That dog is being abused, plain and simple.
If you use an animal as a vanity appliance, you don't need to own one.
Just don't tweet it at PETA. The guys who did it literally had that organization come to mind first.
Think about it. PETA handling animal abuse. A lot of people would read that sentence differently considering PETA effectively murders everything.

I would but I have no clue on what to do.
dicks, feature, Schlongs of Skyrim
I'm seriously not sure what the hell those tags are in there to accomplish. Ok, you've got the name of the game, the studio behind it (I think), and the name of the feature. But then you have "feature": Why the hell do you need a tag just to tell people something is a feature, when you've already got the name of the feature, it's going to be featured, and it says it at the top of the article. "Dicks": This is seriously some "Come play, me lord." level crap, why do you have a tag just for "dicks" what bearing does it honestly have? Then you finally have "Schlongs of Skyrim". Yeah, that one is probably the most fitting and relevant, ten out of ten, you nailed it, RPS. I'm sure this shitty dating sim is related to a shitty cockmod for Skyrim.
S.EXE articles rule because they're blatantly an excuse for a 29-year old woman that's a fangirl that never grew up to slobber about the sex she didn't get in HS/College and occasionally hot men. Getting paid to talk about your masturbatory fantasies is a sweet gig, but it doesn't detract from how pathetic it makes her look (which she seems oblivious to).
What I like the most about S.EXE is that it helped produce one of the most wangsty articles I've ever seen on a news site from a grown-ass person.

You don't really explain how this is supposed to help in any way at all, or why is it even different than when people suggested having a council for gamergate
And the logo is as generic and dull as can be to be honest

I saw a screenshot of this on Twitter. The goldfish seems to have a route.
Sometimes though, games are a space where you just… belong.
... Huh. If only a lot of gamers (talking about people on either side of Gamergate here) would realise this.
By the way, there were a lot of articles yesterday due to that "ongoing investigation" FOIA.
Also overall a few year-end reviews mentioning Gamergate in the past tense :v:
I wouldn't be surprised if the tag spikes a little due to it.
People are angry because it's our own industry (or those who claim to be our industry) turning against the very people they aim to please - and are now only out there for the money. Journalists are the worst offenders - generating hatred and sensationalism for money, and that sort of action will not stand.

This will outline the unions goals, and why it's important for gaming consumers to become active in it. I want to be the absolute best it can be - Visit the article and comment on specific sentences while I am writing it, give suggestions and I will reply back as I write it. Just click Comments, then post your own comments on what you have currently selected. Please help write it up as the first step of starting to unionize democratically!
I'm so glad someone made this, I'll help whenever I can today.
You don't really explain how this is supposed to help in any way at all, or why is it even different than when people suggested having a council for gamergate
Ah, allow me to explain the fundamentals of a union in a simple way: Twitter, social media, reddit, even Wikipedia, are all a battleground. There are many radicals or generally unfavorable people which groups can use as an excuse for everyone else's real attitudes towards a subject. In a union, however, you are a group. You vote together on what you want to do, who to condemn and who really cares about the issues of a particular subject you are in. This gives you much more power if you were to negotiate then individually. Unlike twitter or regular mob tactics, a union is taken much more seriously by groups including media and some more politically interested individuals.
It's a way to speak not as an individual, but as a group in a way that modern societies agree with. The reason that council never left the ground was most likely because nobody went forth and tried to get it off the ground, even so, its the same thing as a union.
Basically, it's the best way to get people to take you seriously and not as "a bunch of angry neckbeards on twitter"
