It's from 8 days ago and probably before the statement they released about Zoe and it's likely that they came to an understanding about that. I'm sure Zoe would've preferred it kept private given it's effectively her accusing Maya of doing the doxxing, but when pretty much everything else in the conversation was made public in the statement it's hardly a massive breach of confidence. While it's probably not nice to release it publicly, Zoe probably shouldn't have relied on confidentiality to keep those kind of accusations from biting her in the ass.

I would honestly rather we just try and donate the money instead of some "me too!!" bullshit, re: Facepunch character.

Zoe might have given them legal clearance to publicly release any information within the e-mail.

What upsets me the most is that they're straying too far from the Vivian James format. Vivian is great because she's subtle. The logo and references aren't in your face, they're more like whispers. It makes Vivian into an everywoman, because you can identify with her even if you don't like /v/ too much. The FP character is like someone walking up to a megaphone and saying, "HI! I'M FACEPUNCH"

Imo a cat with a box on its head for eyeholes would do just fine
