Something I think is notable in relation to the "top games of 2014" list posted earlier: [url]http://www.avclub.com/article/our-favorite-games-2014-part-one-212789[/url] AV Club made their own (more aptly named) favorite games of 2014 list. The Kim Kardashian game was one of their favorites, but I liked that they explained why, primarily because it was an entertaining introduction to casual games. They didn't throw up some snide insults against other people because a Kardashian branded game is disliked for looking like a celebrity cash grab. I thought that was a nice contrast to show how being honest about your experience and writing a thoughtful paragraph can make such an unlikely game seem remarkable.

It's also why his criticism will never be effective, it doesn't target anything; which is why it's so fucking stupid. This about receiving fair and ubaised information so you can make a properly informed choice of wehter or not a product will be of any value to you, not what someone else thinks it should be to fit some childish political agenda. He's not doing any long term good, and ironically enough he's still getting shit on as if he had, so why he chooses to enter this fight half assed is incomprehensible to me. All he's doing is providing milquetoast opposition and receiving full facial abuse for it. Dumb. Just dumb. Commit or don't.

They are legitimately being influenced by somebody anti-gamer, and made the rules specifically for them. 2. Pandering to vocal minority in their userbase, unrelated to 8chan post. 3. Legitimately planned this for awhile, decided that "enough was enough" 4. Knee-jerk reactions to controversial situations. Anything else is conspiracy level, these are the most probable reasons. My bet is on "Knee-jerk reactions." Anybody screaming CHILD PORN is going to get a bad PR manager's attention.

This sentence is probably more relevant than ever, and those that disagreed in the past when I've said it will probably have a renewed outlook on this one: Patreon is cancer.

The ironic thing is being a porn artist is probably one of the most valid uses of Patreon, as it's something you wouldn't as easily be able to make money off of otherwise.
