Patreon is as susceptible to political pressure as any other company. That doesn't mean that its services are bad, as we saw with WikiLeaks it's really any company that can cave in.

There has been a big effort to get games accepted as art and education over the past 15 years. Do you think the 'Gamers are Dead' movement game out of nowhere? As long as Republicans exist, you can expect schools to be severely underfunded so it's unlikely that even if this is true it's not going to take any real effect. We need to really concentrate on the issues that matter.

I hope I'm not late, but someone made on article called "The Mods are Always Sleeping" to expose CP on 8chan. The article itself has blurred pictures, the pictures themselves not really CP unles you're in a place like Canada, so its safe for you to read it. Anyways, people on 8chan are reporting the author to the feds for downloading/distributing CP. This will result in 2 scenarios: one is he won't go to jail but he'll have to admit he's full of shit, two he'll get his ass in jail. Its an interesting situation, but I personally hope for the first result because being nailed with this really fucks a person over.

DIGAR seems like a legit research group that slowly got taken over by activists with an agenda.
