Late question but...did Devi Ever change her name AGAIN?
So Angry Joe posted this in the comments in the video I posted above:

Quick update on this, he's since calmed down and is now having a calm discussion on twitter with pro GG people.
korobeiniki was written before the soviet union even existed
Doesn't it date back to somewhere in the 18th/19th century?
middle of the 1800s, soviet union was established 1922.
Just goes to show how stupid these pseudo-intellectuals actually are.
SJW's tried to buy @playdangerously more followers so he can get banned for buying followers.
https://twitter.com/PlayDangerously/status/549139990626988032
they are doing it for -$74
Dont sites like those use Chinese prisoners as labor, the same way they farm gold in wow?
[editline]28th December 2014[/editline]
If thats the case they are directly supporting slave labor.
Dont sites like those use Chinese prisoners as labor, the same way they farm gold in wow?
i think its more like a bunch of people sign up for a service that tells them who to follow for $$$ (this avoids the problem of havign a bunch of fake accounts follow someone)
like .01 cent a follow or something.
they delay the "Follow x" by a few days for some people that way the follower count grows over days instead of all at once.
that way it looks organic and bypass the system without looking suspicious.
...So its untraceable how would that get him banned?
I am unsure if this is a new level of unlogic or I am missing something.

because the sjw's that paid for it have the proof and can send it to twitter saying "hey look this guy paid for his followers see"
(its a really dumb plan to begin with)
edit:
yea this aint suspicious at all

whoever they paid for followers did a horrible job at hiding it.
That is disgustingly incompetent.
Can we not call them SJWs there is no justice or social advancement coming out of this at all they choose to attack and generalize a fringe subculture to tear it down so they could build their ivory towers.
They are aghast we wont be cowed by their obvious holy and pure presence so we must all be demons.
I doubt they gave them instructions to be subtle.

i like the alternate name Social Justice Cultist
because thats exactly what those type of people are, abusing a movement to build a following and attacking anyone with that following if they disagree.

I would go with something more bland but still negative, the biggest insult other than giving them an insult as a name is giving them a name that evokes nothing in people.
To those that think we shouldn't be posting things like people going #fullmcintosh I disagree entirely.
These people claim to be games journalists, essentially advocates and representatives for the video game buyer. It is our responsibility as consumers to show how these people are utter morons and how they are no longer our representatives.
Quick Summary: Ben Kuchera, video game 'journalist' claims Tetris soundtrack is Soviet propaganda because it was made in the Soviet union.

... So obviously, every single piece of music in an American game is brainwashing people into blindly supporting capitalism?
[editline]28th December 2014[/editline]
This is almost literal McCarthyism.
its true i listened to anime music and became a weeaboo piece of shit

Here's a list of people who wanted to immigrate to the Eastern Bloc because they heard an 18th century russian folk song's 8 bit rendition while playing a puzzle game:
This shit pisses me off so much, and it's always westerners that have these crazy assumptions about the USSR. I know I'm getting pretty SJW with this but fuck that, these people don't even know what it was like, I only heard about it from my parents and grandparents who lived through some extreme shit durning the 50's. Then you get these trust fund babies who were playing their fucking NES when at here, you could get beaten up by the police for wearing very cheap Jeans. Then they go on about this crazy fucking shit. It's insensitive as fuck, it's like saying that if you smoked Cuban cigars durning the Cuban Missle crisis, you were supporting Fidel Castro.
Sidenote, this is the only political rendition of the Korobeiniki
FYI last year he defended Anita's stuff and agreed with it.
That's blatantly wrong. He directly said in the video that he doesn't agree with some off Anita's stuff and only called out the hate that Anita received(which he probably empathises with since almost any person that becomes famous get this kind of stuff)
Late question but...did Devi Ever change her name AGAIN?
Depends on since when, but she doesn't go by Devi Ever since a while as far as I can tell.
Her Patreon page is called Patreon now.
(She made it private, but you can still browse her creations through the mini timeline since Patreon isn't very thorough with the viewing permissions (or it's intentional so creators don't just pull their previous work for their Patrons if they leave the site).)

What I find funny is that she said on twitter
"I'm dying of an easily preventable stress condition"
Maybe you should have thought of your stress related illness before you elbowed your way into the limelight and did some scummy things with Kickstarter, including getting in trouble with the IRS, not refunding people that you scammed and also giving away money while not refunding people, that made lots of people not fucking like you. Way to go on managing your stress you fucking stupid person.
So is this hating yourself or mastrubation.
I assume it's metonymy, which, as a matter of fact, is a Nazi-tier hate speech tool when used intentionally on people.
(Someone on Tumblr seriously tried to defend it using the same kind of misclassification, which is the only reason I even know that word.)
I just want this to end.
I don't want anything to end till I see the entire industry burning to the ground.
Seriously, fuck everyone. Every god damn developer and shitty journalist needs to be thrown in the fire as it goes down.
Top publishers overwork and underpay their devs all the while demanding full games to be released in such a low time frame while indie devs half-ass everything they do and pocket every penny they can find.
Well, this is better than the response I was expecting.
Can't say I disagree with him either. None of us should be blaming him for the actions of a mod on his forums.
I kinda feel bad now for jumping to conclusions. Isn't that kinda the thing we've been fighting against? Making hasty thoughts and statements and not fact checking everything where possible?
You should be blaming him for the actions of his mods; it's his site, he is in charge of those who work for him. That's like a McDonalds employee giving you the wrong order, then you asking for the manager and he tells you 'tough luck, ain't my fault.'
Joe calling out and saying what he just said truly shows either his complacency or incompetence. Running a forum is hard and he has to deal with the consequences of having one.
I just want this to end.
Why? It's the best thing that has happened to the industry for a while.
Quick update on this, he's since calmed down and is now having a calm discussion on twitter with pro GG people.
He is talking directly with Totalbiscuit too, and he has offered to provide info for the top 10 controversies video.
He is talking directly with Totalbiscuit too, and he has offered to provide info for the top 10 controversies video.
That's a really good sign, I haven't yet seen a reasonable person use unreasonable blanket statements after doing so.
I hope this doesn't get unnecessarily ugly (but then again I don't even know this particular YouTuber(?)).

It appears he doesn't believe violence solves conflicts. I wonder what the city fathers of Hiroshima thought about that?

I won't blame him for the actions of another person unless I know if he ordered the censorship or not.
Context is king. How many times has one of Facepunch's own mods gone off the deep end with their own agenda? Yes, I disapprove of the censorship, but I also don't know if he called for it, or the mod was fed up with dealing with the subject. I'd like to know the details before I decide to sling shit everywhere.
If he didn't want to mass censor the subject, then I expect to see the mod punished in due time.

It's not worth trying to figure out what goes on in his head.

What is worth trying to figure out is why games journalists are brown nosing this complete utter nutter.
Do they have some sort of agenda or are they really moronic enough to agree with this tripe?

I really wanna get this in front of fox news. Tell them the free market is being threatened and watch them raise hell. :v:
On a serious note, why the fuck does ANYONE listen to #fullmcintosh?

But it won't show that Mike C paid for it but ... they did ??
But it won't show that Mike C paid for it but ... they did ??
It'll show someone paid for the service, and Mike "benefited" from it. Without any evidence stating otherwise it's pretty easy to connect the dots.
