Customers like this came in DAILY, and I was at the end of it all. Thats who Ben is in this situation. Thirdly, Dicks would NEVER ever ever fucking let Ben know that they actually fired someone he was complaining about. Finally, he could call up the store that guy works in, get the store manager, explain the situation, and guess what the most likely outcome would be? The store manager would ask the worker who might have been their for 10 years who is good friends and a good worker whats going on. They would then tell the store manager its just some crazy sassy guy on twitter causing a scene. The store manager would then be like "Oh ok, whatever then" Also getting fired from Dicks is hardly concerning. A job can be extremely important, and I get people can be in shit situations with not a lot of options, but getting a job at dicks is no real feat, its mcdonalds tier. So if you got fired its not like you just lost some good job or career, and its not like you couldnt get the same tier of a job someplace else. I mean seriously people always complain about not enough jobs, yet these places like Dicks take fucking ANYONE all the time. Its just they are shit jobs so people dont want them. Hell that guy on twitter could be some 16 year old door greeter at dicks who works weekends. The last thing Dicks cares about are the opinions of salty customers. Im serious, even in stores salty customers are the least concerning thing. No one gives a fuck how much of a travesty life is for you while you are trying to buy fucking sport socks. As the insanity went on more and more people came off the fence because of just how awful people were being. I have during this entire thing never engaged in harassment, but I've certainly received a great deal of it and for what? Speaking out about the same things I've been saying since my Mailbox videos in 2011? That games media can do a better job at being less incestuous? Disclosing its friendships? Maybe not writing about people you live with without telling people first? Not treating your readers like idiots? Not claiming "oh yeah we don't accept gifts from publishers" before taking pictures of giant expensive custom flags that you hung on your wall, or selling off custom Bayonetta gun models on ebay for your own personal profit? I get it man, games media doesn't pay that well unless you're big on Youtube but lemme tell you this, honesty costs nothing. But yes that great crime and yesterday for promoting a stream for a charity with whom as of last month I have an OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP WITH, I was bombarded with threats and even had an irrelevant ex-NFL player demand that games developers following him seriously reconsider working with our company. Let me tell you Chris why companies work with us. Because we have a 5 year history of professionalism, honesty and fairness. With that we were able to build an audience that eclipses the vast majority of traditional games media and that is only going to grow come 2015. Youtube has outpaced traditional games media to the point where its relevance, at least when it comes to reviewing or even previews, is becoming more tenuous by the day. Those who do not adapt to this change in media consumption will surely fall by the wayside. Those of us did well, we are where we are now. Somehow, I doubt that 5 years of building relationships with these companies and proving time and again that they can trust us to do a good job, is going to be undone by your online warbling. It might however, make developers think twice before working with you, knowing that you are such a volatile public person whose priority seems to be a misguided political agenda built on falsehood and wilful misrepresentation of the facts. Not a spokesperson I would personally engage with for my company, certainly not. I thoroughly condemn the idea that my followers and viewers are horrible people who would engage in harassment. TB is in an interesting situation, he and his channel are virtually untouchable by typical SJW sabotage tactics. He has a huge and loyal following, people who unsubscribe over this are going to be an irrelevant amount. If anything it's going to be free advertising, I remember he already mentioned his channel doing much better since gamergate started. He has no official ties with developers, if they refuse to send him review copies (which is only going to happen when companies start hating money) he'll just buy the game, or give coverage to something else. It would hurt the company so much more than it would his channel. Basically SJW don't have anybody worthwhile to go and cry to to ruin his job because of how independent his channel is.

How exactly did this kind of mentality sprout to be? In the south, no one acts like this, at least at my college or my old high school. Being 100% politically correct is impossible and completely unrealistic, all you have to do is be courteous and people will be courteous to you. How hard is that? I'll never understand the mentality. I really wish we had a better word to call these people than 'Social Justice Warriors'. I'm all for social justice, honestly- in terms of ensuring everybody is free and equal.
