TBH admitting to something non-sarcastically as your real name for a crime you claim to have committed is going to get you checked out by police [editline]a[/editline] To the post above, Chloe Sagal is a literal professional victim with a narcissistic problem and will screw over anybody and everybody to get attention so she can get money, there's more then enough damning evidence to support that. (See one of my earlier posts) She even claims shes terminally ill - that's a new one. I respect Brianna for treating her the way she deserves, even if she's a professional victim herself - nobody should stoop to Chloe's level. There is a VERY good reason paypal has blacklisted her, she commits fraud whenever she can. Three times now shes lied about doing something, second time she ran away with the money, other two times she didn't even get it for her lies.
This is interesting, I don't give half a shit about any of those two but it's quite the voyage into the mind of a professional victim, how they act and what they really think when they're out of the spotlight http://imgur.com/yJPWyvH In other news, SJWs have been tearing eachother apart quite a lot lately

You're threatening me again?

Because you're going to sit here and trigger me then act like I'm the problem

If you're going to threaten me, we're not friends

You privileged cunt
PRIVILEGE FIGHT
I don't see the relevance of Chloe Sagal to gamergate at all, shes nothing but a con artist who leeches on the name to get attention.
I don't see the relevance of Chloe Sagal to gamergate at all, shes nothing but a con artist who leeches on the name to get attention.
Because she has been carrying out unethical actions? Again, unethical activity in the sphere of video game journalism is not just the sole focus of GamerGate any longer, it has long moved beyond that.

(It seems that Sagal posted it, is there a link to her account publishing it?) [editline]test[/editline] <- There's her Tweet. Aside from that, she's not totally wrong that GamerGate may spread a call for refund requests, but it would certainly be to get people their money back and possibly harm PayPal and at best neutral towards her. As far as I'm concerned I'd spread a verifiable call for filing refund requests (because if true that's a giant red flag regarding the refund handling of one of those companies), but I'd put a big "Has Sagal tried to defraud you?" right next to it.
Because she has been carrying out unethical actions? Again, unethical activity in the sphere of video game journalism is not just the sole focus of GamerGate any longer, it has long moved beyond that.
She has nothing to do with videogames, though. Everything she has done has been unrelated to gamergate other then blaming it for sympathy money, because she knows that people are giving money away for "victims" of it. All three of her crowd-funding scams have not been about videogames. Gamergate is a popular subject which is why she wants big names in the opposition to endorse her, no other reasons. Sure, it's un-ethical, but I think it's far beyond the scope of this. Giving her attention doesn't help either.
Also, 8chan is back up online.
So is there an implosion occurring?
So is there an implosion occurring?
I hope so.
I don't know if anybody knows, but IGN completely reworked it's ethics page 10 days ago : http://ca.ign.com/wikis/ign/Standards_and_Practices
It looks rather decent skimming over it was there any major changes?

You know, there is a Hungarian proverb that goes "a lot of good people will find enough room even in a small place" This is like, the exact opposite of it. Even a few crappy people can't fit in the same place :v:
Oh my god how many times do we need to see that image today, let alone in full screen. And once again, NOBODY likes Chloe, it's not special seeing Agg hate on her.
If you're going to post it at least put it in a thumbnail
https://8chan.co/gamergate/res/193908.html
Since the GAME_JAM megapost came out, we’ve managed to shake loose some new and additional information. Let’s use this thread to keep track of any information that is either new as of the publishing of the megapost or information that is relevant but was not included in the original megapost. NEW INFO Adriel Wallick has confirmed the suspicion that the contracts contained non-disclosure agreements. What this means is that anyone who signed the contract (everyone but Adriel and Robin) has been forced into silence under threat of legal action. See pic related What this also means is that Zoe was potentially in breach of the agreement when she started talking about GAME_JAM almost immediately. We already know she signed the contract, the presence of the NDA in the contract is mentioned in this GameSkinny article from April 1st: https://archive.today/bbHz9 We have also learned that one of the people on the team of USC students is one Scott Stephan. He and the other students “would become GUTS Dept.” and is currently working on a game called Aegis Defenders. He has posted a “rebuttal” to the megapost, archived here: https://archive.today/6WsdN He mentions being “sold on the idea” about 2 months before it happened which means he was contacted around the beginning of 2014. Which, incidentally, is the same time Josh Mattingly (who originally came up with the idea) was forced to resign in a sexual harassment scandal. He also says he left the lot on day 2, which seems to corroborate the Jared Rosen account and places the Disney trip and Zoe staying with Jared on the 28th. Incidentally, he also says “Maybe there was some grand, shadowy conspiracy to crash the show.” While he does not seem involved in the sabotage directly he is also not an ally of GamerGate and seems to be a bit of a closet SJW. He also mentions “Zoe and Robin and Davey and Adriel and Caleb and Russel and Tom and Jacob and Bryce and Lifu” so these could be some of the previously unnamed contestants who could not speak out because of the NDA. ADDITIONAL INFO In addition to the articles mentioned in the megapost, there were others that came out on the same day. Some of these are: Colin Campbell’s article for Polygon (Also links to the other 4 articles. March 31st ) Christian Nutt’s article for Gamastura (Also links to the other 4. March 31st) Nathan Grayson’s article for Kotaku (Also links to the 4, seems to have interviewed Zoe –breach of contract again- March 31st) On the following day, we get more articles. Here are some of them: Jeffrey Matulef’s article for Eurogamer (Links to the other articles. April 1st) Gavia Baker-Whitelaw’s article for Daily Dot (Links to the others. April 1st) Rich McCormick’s article for The Verge (Links to others, really short. April 1st) Amazon Eliza Steels’ article for GameSkinny (Links to the others. Confirms Zoe’s NDA. April 1st) There are probably more articles from March 31st and April 1st but this short additional list only adds to suspicion of PR involvement. The site for Zoe’s Rebel Jam was apparently registered on April 1st and its description sounds exactly like the description for GAME_JAM. Remember that the donations all went right into her own personal account. Max Tempkin (Cards Against Humanity) was reportedly one of the donors to Rebel Jam. Zoe had also apparently written Tempkin’s apology letter. Please feel free to add to this thread if you have any new information or anything important or relevant that was not included in the original megapost. One of the primary issues at this point seems to be that we have enough evidence to STRONGLY SUGGEST that Zoe Quinn broke her contractual obligations to not talk about GAME_JAM. She really couldn’t keep her mouth shut about it and this might be a solid case against her that could potentially lead to legal action. I will continue gathering information on Zoe and the NDA and possibly write a short piece about it soon.

It looks rather decent skimming over it was there any major changes?

IGN's been around a long time, and some of the people who used to work here now work at companies that make the products we cover. Conversely, some people who work here currently, used to work at those same companies. Coverage assignments are managed so that we can avoid any possible conflict of interest. If we feel it's necessary to cover a game or movie made by a former employee, that coverage will be handled by a freelancer or staffer who had no close personal relationship with the former employee. Current employees are also restricted from covering products they used to work on before they came to IGN. If someone at IGN develops a relationship with an industry contact that extends beyond a professional friendship, he or she must disclose that to the editorial managers, who will determine whether or not that employee should be permitted to cover their friend's projects. If we determine that employee can still cover the project fairly, that personal relationship will be disclosed to our users. Some members of the team also contribute to crowd-funding efforts for properties or personalities they'd like to support. To guard against those investments influencing an editor's coverage, staffers must immediately disclose to their managers when they donate more to a project than it would cost to purchase the product when or if it becomes available (eg. the cost of a pre-order).
Remember all of those writers that bailed IGN? They bailed right about the same time this became a thing.
Seriously, can you imagine if a year ago you said IGN would be the pinnacle of journalistic integrity at the start of the next year?
Wait, what apology letter?
integrity
They aren't even close, they've simply acceded to normalized litigation protection, nothing more, which frankly should have been in place since day one. Lipservice should be treated as just that. To coin an ironic phrase, page based gaming journalism is over; the reason it'll continue to be a thing is ubiquity and universality of phones that can browse, and the kind of convenience that entails. Much as cable news has become clickbait-esque muh feels pieces and letting polarized demographic groups feel they are correct in order to stay profitable (we live in a world where the largest single news organization on planet earth invites people to judge their stories' existential merit based on reaction rather than present the facts that caused that reaction in the first place and their sister channel's highest rated program by an order magnitude is a non-journalist who literally prejudges every piece presented to her and literally shouts down any calls for objectivity at the top of her lungs), page based "gaming journalism" has pretty much reached its end run, politicized click-bait where research and comparison are afterthoughts and traffic driving is king. You can go on youtube or any feed/stream based service and judge for yourself at any time, and while there will ALWAYS be more people who want someone else to tell them how to feel about a product, for anyone else in the minority with half a brain, most of the time all the information you need will presented outright, regardless of the voice speaking over that content in review. It would have been nice to have a dignified funeral, but the pyre is starting to burn nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see how many unique views these sites will be getting on non-opinionated pieces five years from now.

Has anyone tried telling Intel to not support IDGF and FemFreq to get them to pull out because of the sham-ness from both of them?
Why would Intel listen to a bunch of disparate emails over a political lobbying group with direct access to MSNBC?
Has anyone tried telling Intel to not support IDGF and FemFreq to get them to pull out because of the sham-ness from both of them?
They won't listen to emails again after the PR trip gaming journalists gave them. They are basically at the whim of gaming journalists, I am amazed gaming journalists don't just claim this shit on everybody to get more profit. Also, the fact that IGN has more integrity now then almost 95% of journalists sites is the saddest thing in existence. They are like, the only people I have seen so far that have remained completely neutral and non-biased, let alone mention it.
People talk about how these journalists don't have any power and yet they just influenced companies to follow their stupidity. Beautiful, isn't it?

You take time out of both of your days, meet up in a cafe or bar, take pictures of yourself essentially flicking people on the internet off, then tweet the pictures telling people on the internet to fuck off all because you agree with someone on one bit of politics? I don't know if it's just me but that seems either really weird or really pathetic.
