The same thing that happens with all these "MOTHERFUCKING HUUUGE BOMBS BEING DROPPED YO". Nothing.
I think there's enough reasonable suspicion for the FBI to start their own investigation
so everyone is shitting their pants over this but is anything actually going to happen as a result

The same thing that happens with all these "MOTHERFUCKING HUUUGE BOMBS BEING DROPPED YO". Nothing.
Actually, that's not true. The previous leaks and reveals weren't illegal, just shady. However, seeing as this information violates the RICO act, CameraLady and the rest of the team already sent a report to the FBI before publicly reporting. CameraLady has a bunch of information that she's compiling for a youtube video that will be uploaded shortly today.
This bombshell is actually slowing 4chan down.
Someone pointed out on 4chan that this might have been why Fish wanted to sell off his company.
can we get some non-gamergate reactions to this please or is it deadly silent due to how huge the bomb is
Someone pointed out on 4chan that this might have been why Fish wanted to sell off his company.
Quite possibly. Jump ship, make it look like your records have been tampered with, try to deflect attention away. It'd be hilarious seeing the sites that have previously stuck up for him through this suddenly having to report his arrest.
Someone pointed out on 4chan that this might have been why Fish wanted to sell off his company.
I agree. Also, the announcer in the stream said they highly, highly suspect that it was someone within Polytron who leaked the information (since the funding allegations stem from the original leak). Which means there's a very high chance someone at Polytron found out about the illegal actions going on and wanted to leak the information that implicated Indiecade, using the Zoe Quinn situation as cover to do so. [editline]7th September 2014[/editline]
can we get some non-gamergate reactions to this please or is it deadly silent due to how huge the bomb is
I think everyone is either waiting for the video to be posted, or is deathly afraid of setting off the bombshell now that it's embedded itself in the ground.
can we get some non-gamergate reactions to this please or is it deadly silent due to how huge the bomb is
Polygon's Chris Grant might be making a block list http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fblocktogether.org%2Fshow-blocks%2Ff69c30dec6ccd3fba46bc3d43d9167c7b94e9b652c38e470a2e6dc000e67b69f752b50254e48a0d5da8db1801bbadbcf
I haven't seen any mention of it yet from the usual suspects on my end. I'm thinking they quite possibly just won't bring it up at all, refuse to comment on it, everything. Because doing so would give it more publicity, something they don't want from it.

This big bomb makes me kinda wish that Max wasn't banned, just to see what he would say (if anything at all).
This big bomb makes me kinda wish that Max wasn't banned, just to see what he would say (if anything at all).
"phil fish din do nuffin!"
This big bomb makes me kinda wish that Max wasn't banned, just to see what he would say (if anything at all).
He stays silent usually till he has a small chance to get a "victory"
Haven't seen it posted here yet, here's a video of the stream where the nuke went off.
This big bomb makes me kinda wish that Max wasn't banned, just to see what he would say (if anything at all).
"UHH UHH WELL... SEE THE GAMERS ARE... IF A MAN HAD... LOOK AT THE IRC CHATLOGS DO YOU SEE HOW MANY TIMES THE WORD FAG IS USED!?" That's about my guess. Then again, it's not possible for me to completely turn my brain off so it might actually be even worse.
This big bomb makes me kinda wish that Max wasn't banned, just to see what he would say (if anything at all).
Something that would get him perma'd, hopefully
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
We really don't need the extreme SH nuts in here right now
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
So the SJW squad jump to the rescue of someone not even involved? There's no point.
https://twitter.com/EffNOVideoGames/status/508718346217328640 Fuck NO Video Games is a pretty influential SJ network about calling out problematic issues in gaming. The fact that the owner called out Polygon for their block list means there's going to be a huge fight between Polygon's base. The #gameethics side is going to have a lot of in-fighting, it seems, because the true colors of these journos is going to come out: it's hard to support a fake ally when they actively silence/block marginalized critics.
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
Only once the legal procedures start. Then by all means, go for it!
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
Maybe when there's actually a FBI investigation going on.
fuck i accidentally misclicked the new thread button in SH while i was prepping a thread up sorry
fuck i accidentally misclicked the new thread button in SH sorry
you dicked it wii, you dicked it hard. But anyways, so what do you guys think is gonna happen now?
should i post a thread in sensational headlines
"Hey guys shall I post this"? *posts anyway* Posting things in SH without a source looks really fucking bad. There are no official sources, the claims aren't fully substantiated and nothing is actually happening right now. If this turns out to be nothing, then well done, you just started shit for no reason.
oh man i was expecting the stream to have some good info but nothing like this.

you blew it
i apologize for my wrongdoing, i shouldn't have even tried to prepare a thread.
Well best thing you can do now is just polish up it's OP and give a brief overview of what the accusation is and why. It's best just to give some select quotes from the source than just leave it mostly blank as otherwise no one will read it.
i will try my best
IGF is a pretty massive thing for indie game devs. Games that win are automatically put onto steam, and win a cash prize. Jonathan Blow and some other people run a program called the indie games fund, this is known, and it is fine. They get some money out of whatever companies they fund. Again, this is legal. One of the companies they fund is polytron, another is the company that made antichamber. Both of these were in the IGF. It turns out that several members of this group are judges at the IGF, meaning that fez and antichamber were pushed through to winning because of the connections they have. This is totally illegal.
can i borrow this TL;DR for the thread?
Yeah sure.
