The fact that the vast majority of responses coming out of the social justice clique and journalists seem to end in nerd, neckbeard, or otherwise bothers me the most out of it. It's like they seem to think if you just handwave hard enough and play up the idea that the person you're talking to is a complete societal reject that it'll actually become true and invalidate every claim that the opposing side is making.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, considering its the internet and most journos have already showcased having as much integrity as a wet kleenex.

Nah dude, most of society just justifies consequences to being equal to the act itswld . People harassed Zoe, it then became social acceptable to harass any random opposing person. Eye for Eye, etc. Very immature stance on the whole thing.

Why does she reacts to demands of clarification on the controversy by stating such demands are a display of hypocrisy? Why even use social justice as a shield when her most of her detractors don't display any sign of misogyny and some of them are even fervent feminists?
How can one not be appalled when the very gaming press that ignored the problem and heavily censored any discussion up until now suddenly covered Anita Sarkeesian's harassment, when they had in the past ignored deaths threats directed towards actors of the gaming industry such as Jack Thomson and Brad Wardell, and jumped on the opportunity to depict the opposition, if not gamers at large, as anti-social bigots?
To claim that the indignation towards this controversy is childish equates to stating that journalistic integrity is not a big deal when it's about videogames. And to pretend that the fact this is about an entertainment medium somehow means that it's not worth talking about is to ignore a significant part of the problem. Also, there's a pretty apparent illusion of granduer. You're handling people who have been told they are for fighting the next generation of freedom. Obviously when you contradict them with comments of journalistic integrity , they look at you as ignorant and crude apes.

Crime reports are probably partially publicly disclosable in the USA, if you ask the woman's local police force if they've had any harassment reports from SURNAME within a specific time period they can probably tell you either yes or no

That one contained her address so that's possible she fled because of it.
I'm still not convinced though, because no one previously was able to find out where she lives, and that's after two massive campaigns against her? Plus Zoe 'left her home almost immediately after that. Taking into consideration the spin our 'opponents' are trying to place on this whole thing from the start, I won't be surprised that it's a ploy. Maybe I'm just biased and unfair to pathological liars.

I'm honestly surprised my brain didn't fucking shrivel into itself after hearing the people who side with Zoe on Twitter.
i feel as though the side that is largely arguing for the sake of journalism is in the right
however there's a disturbing number of people that ended up on that "side" (why should this even be a side lol) that just blindly do shitty stuff because those gosh darn sjw are wrong, just as there is a large number of people that shit on any real discussion of the current events because of the end result of the problem. but should a person respond to a problem when the driving force to do so is death threats?
this basic angry mra vs angry feminist debacle has evolved into a situation where all those now questioning the impacts of the latter on journalism are instantly categorized into the former, and those supporting the latter fail to see the message of the former due to the insane actions of the more radical members.
ironically, many of us see feminists the same way.
what are people even mad about? why do they keep making indirect connections? the current events, have two entirely unrelated controversies, and somehow the two became intertwined.
