Just the other day I watched the Giantbomb quick look on Massive Chalice and thought it looked really cool, but I don't think I can buy or play it knowing how he's reacted to criticism of people he knows.

They're just the video game businesses video game business company, ya know? They make what is easy to sell and that's why people hate them. Kotick has made off the cuff remarks and that is why people hate them. You know what you've never heard Activision do though? Talk about DRM (afaik). You know what Activision has never be accused of? Release a game is such an atrocious state that people can't play it the day it comes out (afaik). They literally do everything people want out of video games except they're also the monolithic corporate entity people don't like. They make games, but they don't take risks. It's just business for Activision. I just don't buy their games because they don't make anything interesting anymore.

I remember people complaining about performance in general was a little shaky but I don't know about unplayable.

It's like that time a news article talked about a massive "bubble" around the earth that was caused by supernovas. Honestly, as someone who doesn't really follow the indie scene, nor really read much games journalism, I'm on the GG side of things after looking at everything thats cropped up. But the problem is, due to the vocal minority in each group (though the ZQ side may have more of them) nobody can even slightly get onto one side or the other, or even both, without being viciously attacked. The vocal minorities are their own sides worst enemies.
