If that above is true, not only did Anita lie, but she either tricked or the bloggers took it at face values. I'm no longer calling them Journalists, they're bloggers with ego issues.

I think a funny thing about all of this is how amateur most of their scams are. Most of them have been shit like posting fake links to charities, which any moron trying to get some extra $$$ can do. The only thing that kept them from being investigated was using the aegis of social justice to protect themselves. It worked with individuals, but the defense folded pretty quickly when a lot of people began hammering them.

My guess is that she did donate part of the donations but didn't do it through the channels that the law specifies for this sort of thing. She probably also simply used her patreon instead of setting up anything with the charity or notifying them at all. Which is still illegal.
