I absolutely cannot step on cracks. If I do with one foot, I have to do it with the other. Same with any bump in whatever I'm walking on, if one foot walks on it, the other HAS to.
I'm the same way- except it applies to a lot more. If I touch someone accidentally, i have to touch them exactly the same way with my other hand. I get interesting looks from people. It applies to other things, too. Such as the cracks, bumps, my ipod, my phone, etc. It annoys the hell outta me. I also have to read magazines or articles in the order they're printed. No skipping to the picture, must read boring article first. Pisses me off. A lot.
Pretty much everything already said in this thread, and when I play games I have to keep the ammo a straight numer, If I have lets say 97 bullets I HAVE to shoot 2 and reload, if I shoot too much I have to waste more to 90 <.<
I dont like to leave the volume on tv at an odd number besides 5.

Well my OCD has been diagnosed I now suffer from mental illnesses alot of the time. Sometimes I'm in the bathroom for hours up to 4 making sure everything is clean I also use so much soap my hands are like sand paper, I also have exma which makes it all the more fun.
I have OCD when someone posts fast threads in GD.

Most of the OCD like tendencies people have don't compare to people with real OCD. I'd say that generally most people are OCD on a small level. The level that most people experience it on isn't anywhere near the level that people with real OCD experience.
I always have to step on cracks with my right foot and avoid cracks with my left foot. Thus, I always have to look down while walking. tl;dr tell us some of your OCD quirks.
Holy shit, im not alone?

I freak out on the inside if someone is not typing anything in correct grammar. I also have to have Num Lock on. ALL THE TIME. If a computer has it off, I freak and turn it on.
For volumes: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, etc. It's all good. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 17, etc. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING
Oh god no... Prime numbers are the only thing a volume can be on. Unless it's in my car, then it has to be a multiple of 5.
another thing I do I have to check all locks 9 times before I leave the door.
I have ton's but ill name somethings I have to do things in 2's,5's or 10's mainly 5's or 10's or else it's just not right and bugs me till i redo it. Mainly I'm a germaphobe i clean my things obsessively no one is allowed to touch my bed if someone who isnt me touches me i had to wash the sheets. If someone does touch my sheets or other things i think of every possible thing they could have touched and clean it. My first month of college i used 225 wipes a quarter of a two liter bottle of hand sanitizer 3/4th a gallon of soap and about a bottle of bleach. There are many more things but ill post maybe later. EDIT:As i walk i have to breath a certain amount of times and if i mess up i hold my breath until i get to the next square (this is generally a problem on the giant square's we have here on campus)
You know that part of your t-shirt where the fabric is different from everywhere else? That is the worst thing for 2 reasons: 1. Touching this with short nails feels... ugghh 2. Biting this? I literally can't speak when thinking of biting that part. I'm not kidding you. Not really OCD, but whatever.
I have an oral fixation. That means I cannot concentrate well without SOMETHING to chew or suck on. Basically, it has left me with an eating disorder, a habit of nail biting, and...uh...a thumb-sucking habit. GAYBOWS AWAY!
Kind of this, but it's my hands instead of my mouth.

Having to step an equal amount of stairsteps on each foot.
When people put a space between the last letter of their sentence and an exclamation mark. Whether English isn't their native language or not, it annoys the living shit out of me.
I doodle triangles attached to other triangles all the time, and once I start drawing a triangle I can't stop until I draw several more.
Lately I've had this thing with silently chuckling and looking at the top right corner of something square shaped (like my monitor, or a window) and then down at the bottom left corner.
I flip out if i see someone have their neck touched, or someone touched mine, i grab my neck and feel it to make sure i'm not damaged, if someone touches me i have to touch them in the same spot back, if i get any indication someone doesn't like me i get super depressed for varying amounts of times, even if they just got pissed because i spilled something on them, and the sight of those large ear piercings makes me spazz out.
When I was a baby, a leaf fell off a tree in autumn at my daycare. I cried and cried until one of the teachers stapled it back onto the tree.
One two, 3 four 5. 6 7 nine 8 ten; Annoy anyone?
You're afraid of yourself? :v:
Best example for the 'Zing!' emote ever. People who cry when you step on their shoes or get them dirty. I hate them. You're STEPPING ON YOUR SHOES FOR A REASON. WHO GIVES A SHLUP IF YOU GET IT DIRTY AGGHHHHHHHHNNNGHH
We have these big carpet tiles in our school's hallways that have a checkered grain to them. When ever I walk down the hall I always have to step in the correct way that I'm going, I'll even go as far as turning my foot sideways when walking down the hall to ensure that my feet match up with the grain of the tiles. And I have a ton of small other OCD things, like we have this other area in our school made up of white, foot long "marble" tiles, and I always will walk in an L shape on those, like how the knight moves in chess.
I have CDO. It's like OCD but in alphabetical order LIKE IT SHOULD BE.
everytime i change a setting it is always in an interval of 5's, i can't have the volume at 17, it's gotta be 15 or 20
Holy shit me too. My grandma had this TV what would sometimes make the volume go up in intervals of 2 when I pressed the button, so it would just bounce from 19 to 21 and back to 19. It drove me mad whenever I visited.
I freak out on the inside if someone is not typing anything in correct grammar. I also have to have Num Lock on. ALL THE TIME. If a computer has it off, I freak and turn it on.
This too. I can not stand how the school computers have it off by default. It makes me want to punch the screen in. And I have a compulsion to keep my watch synchronized to the second with the school clock. I have to use the bell to do that. All in all, I have quite a few of your guys' quirks.
I have to have all my work in a neat pile. It's odd because my room is just explosively messy. [editline]18th October 2010[/editline] 900th post :downs:

Yes, yes it does.
I never really realized it until a few months ago, but I believe I have a minor form of OCD, evidenced by some compulsive behavior that I have. It usually deals with rubbing things. For instance, if you're wearing a t-shirt, look in the sleeve next to your armpit; there should be a seam there with a slightly thicker part near the hem. I have ruined countless shirts because I must rub/scrape this seam thing in between my pointer finger and thumb constantly. If I don't do this, I get extremely nervous and start shaking. Fortunately, not many people notice, as most humans don't have obsessions with staring at armpits. Also, when I'm not doing that, I rub my fingers together. Not finger-pad to finger-pad, but using the skin beside your nails, where you get hangnails. I do this to the point that the skin next to all of my fingernails is bloody and torn. I've been lucky enough that most people don't notice.
I have this feeling of dread if I don't do something a specific way every time I do something that won't go away unless I do it. I can't ignore it and I'm forced to give in.
OCD is when people do specific and irrational things, like having to get in and out of bed on the left side every day, and do this 10 times before leaving the room, or keep all furniture in exactly the same place all their life.
and basically that too.
