For the love of god remove that picture :byodood:
I count stairs, If it's not a multiple of ten I get really pissed off.
It's always eleven steps :smith:

or when a whiteboard isn't pristine and clear of all marks I feel uncomfortable.

related: I flip the fuck out whenever I'm walking down a hallway and there are an even number of tiles from wall to wall. also if there is a design in it, it drives me insane if the number of tiles between each point where the pattern restarts is odd.

re-related to this, If a wall/floor uses a half tile I feel slightly uncomfortable.
Like someone else typed.
If I touch something with my left hand, I want to touch it with the right, to balance it out.
Certain asymmetric things freak me out - i can't stand it when my desktop background is brighter on one side for example.
Also, when someone touches me on the left, i feel the urge to do the same on the right, to balance out this weird feeling i get.
I don't think it's OCD at all - it worries me nevertheless.
Everything needs too be Parallel, Symmetrical, Etc.
Nothing can be out of place.
:(

The worst part is when sidewalk cracks are out-of-sync with your natural stride.
Both of these for me. I've gotten better with floor tiles, though.
I walk like this even today, and i am 17...
I actaully had both of those symptoms and something more, that I had to wash myself in the shower, longest shower was 7 hours. And no, it's not a joke.
I beleive you I wouldn't think anyone would lie about somthing like this.
I also used to have this gaming OCD everyone use to have to be okay in the game so I'd keep checking areas constantly and my eyes would see nothing, but my mind would be like I bet theirs someone who needs help their. Fallout 3 and Fable at the time were unplayable for me
Not sure if this counts, but I can't stand reading a newspaper unless it's the days newspaper. If it's yesterday for instance I can't read it.
I had pretty bad OCD at one point. I was horribly afraid of getting sick, so I compulsively washed my hands until my skin was so dry it cracked and hurt like hell, which led to me being diagnosed as OCD by a psychologist. I'm (Mostly) over it now. Also, when I do something like eat candy, or stack things up, they have to be eaten/stacked with an even number of each kind, in a specific pattern (Like if I had 4 red candies, 4 blue candies, and 2 green candies, I will eat a blue, then red, blue, red, green, blue, red, blue, red, green)
Oh man I do the TV volume on a number that's like an even number, I often need to straighten, rearrange stuff (Not essentially but if I can without trouble I'll do it)

Oh god bleeding by washing would hurt like FUCK.
Glad I got only minor tidiness.
when you've been doing it for years you kinda get use to the pain I mean it doesn't get any better but it's normal for me so I don't let it bug me to much.
I'm always afraid that if I don't keep moving my paper, it'll go into sleep mode(like a computer) and won't turn back on.
I feel everything must be grouped together. If i walk past a table with a single pen on it, ill tear everything apart until i find a second pen to sit next to it. Same goes for my phones, salt and pepper shakers, etc.
Dunno if this counts, but it feels weird if they arent grouped.
I can't have cabinets or pantries with products where the labels are showing outwards and not sorted by name/type of food/colour etc.
just thinking about it makes me shiver
I hate it when I can't explain or figure something out.
Like 1 meter jumps in minecraft
The number 2 is a bad number. 3,5,7 are good numbers..in the shower I have to spend intervals of 3, 5, and 7 minutes at a time. I have to turn the light of in my room 3, 5, 7 times before I go to sleep. I have to read a sentence 3,5,7 times before I move on. I wrote this post 3 times, than 5 times than 7 times.
Icons on my desktop, all I have is the trashcan.
I like to numbers to be multiples of 5, and when ever I am doing something or focusing on something that can be done with one hand, particularly things like RTS games, I chew on my thumb or middle finger, so much that it leaves these callused sores on my fingers.
I neaten my PC when I go to bed.
Meaning the screens must be off,
The keyboard straight,
The mouse and mouse pad straight,
The headphones on screen.
People who breathe loud and people who chew like cows
When People Type Like This
Yes Those People Are So Annoying I Hate Them As Well ! !
Yeah, I have seen that before, sometimes on of them is burnt.
If I chew with one side of my mouth, I have to chew it on the other side the same number of times to even it out
Every night for the last 3 and a half years, I get a class of water. I keep the last mouthful in my mouth, go to the toilet, get into bed, then swallow the water. This is so I can have a drink and go to the toilet are quickly before bed as I can.
When I stack my books/laptop/pencil case during lessons, all of the books must be arranged from bottom to top in increasing surface area (on its ace), set up symmetrically with the pencil case facing away from me. I can't stand it not being like that.
Also, when I hang up clothes I always make sure to use the same colour pegs for each item.
Each of my guitars have to be perfectly aligned against the wall other wise I get worried that something will happen like one will go down and knock the others from their stands. I also have to have the strings clean and shiny each time I play. I cannot STAND playing a guitar with strings that are dirty as fuck because then that gets all over my hands/fingers and then I have to go wash my hands to get all the muck and grime off of them
I don't have OCD, unlike the 90% of this forum who claim to.
