My shoulder is always sore after firing my copy. 30-60 is a serious round. :colbert:
I hate this argument. You don't hunt because you're concerned about overpopulation, that's a fact and I'd think hunting doesn't make too much of an impact on species like deer anyway. That doesn't make it right, it just means that justification is stupid.
You know, countries that outlaw hunting aren't overrun by deer, or any other species by and large.
Perhaps you don't have this problem in your area but it is possible. They also may kill off other species, spread disease, eat pets, or livestock.
I am going to hunt spiders.
That is definitely a year round season. I just had a Black Widow slaughter around my house.
Where are you hunting this year and for what?
This is a calendar of all hunting season start dates through the Month of November for all different types of game in all 50 states. Great resource for hunters, especially if they travel to hunt.
There really is nothing wrong with killing something for the sake of killing and it's definitely not barbaric either. Killing is part of the sport, along with bragging rights, enjoyment, and everything else.
Agreed somewhat with the second statement, but the first... no. Killing for the sake of killing is pointless.
Going Deer hunting here in upstate NY with my Remington 11-87 and my M91-30 Mosin Nagant. I hope I'm lucky enough to get a doe tag.
You haven't gotten your tags yet? You should get them earlier like I do. I managed to score two doe tags.

p.s. I live in upstate NY too
I still have to get my hunting license. Fuck.
I just went Pheasant hunting today, got two birds, I also go Deer hunting and other small game hunting.
I'll be going hunting in November. You can find me sporting some Blaze Orange in Northern Wisconsin.
