your teammate shockpaddles you back to life
your teammate shockpaddles you back to life
What happens if they have none or they die before doing it?
I like to think that we get reincarnated. Maybe not depending on how nice you were in a past life, but still, reincarnated. It sounds the funnest, living in heaven for forever sounds boring, and it kinda makes sense with the preservation of energy, that if we do have souls, the energy is reused as we cant just make more souls
I like the way this guy thinks^ it's like a mirror

You go to a magical place were your family and freinds are there and you are all in the perfect place in the world. + Women + Every hat in tf2.
choose one.
Phew at least I'm not religious or that might have made some sense other than if I do bad things I'm going to get hotter and if I do good things I'm going to get cooler.
you know how when you turn a phone off it flashes a bunch of images then goes black? that's what happens.
No.
no one knows for certain of course, but all I believe you just become lifeless matter. and there's nothing wrong with that. what used to be you will become part of everything else. I see that as far better than any afterlife. as for feeling better about it, I've always liked this quote from Jacobs Ladder. "If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. If you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth"
I fucking hate thinking about this. Scares me crazy thinking that nothing will happen. That I'll just cease to function or think. I'm crying.
Well, I feel /way/ older than sixteen years old. Between whether we actually have souls, or it's just the brain producing chemicals, I think it's actually both. Think of it as the physical brain trying to perceive what the soul senses, as they are both tied to each other. Hence why we can't remember a good deal of our dreams; the brain can't fully comprehend the plane of existence we're visiting at the moment.
I fucking hate thinking about this. Scares me crazy thinking that nothing will happen. That I'll just cease to function or think. I'm crying.
Well, the good news is that you don't have to think this. You can have everlasting life in Christ.
Well, the good news is that you don't have to think this. You can have everlasting life in the Tooth Fairy.
Same difference.
I think it's stupid how people can believe in life after death! We are very complicated organic machines, and our advanced brains allow us to think hypothetically - imagine stuff. That makes us think about what happens to our minds when we die, but can never find out (untill we die). And that's why we are afraid of dying. - Do you think animals go about being afraid of not getting to heaven? Here's what I imagine that happens when we die: When we die, our neurons simply stopp firing, stop "rendering" our thoughts. So it doesn't fade into darkness or something. As neurons die, you get dumber and dumber, untill you get delusional, and you simply stop thinking. If someone was to revive you a hundred years later you would wake up, and those years would seem like an instant. Imagine an robot with artificial intelligence, it's self aware and afraid of dying; what happens to it when you disconnect it's power source, and then reconnect it? Sum up: We are organic, we can't go to any other level of existing than the one we already exist at. Our thoughts happen chemically in our minds, not in some soul or any gibberish like that.
Nothing.
really? you've died before?
I sort of think the mind stays active in a non explainable way, creating this dream world that stays around till the fermaldahyde finally wears off and worms eat you.
I died once when I was on anestetic. It was nothing.
G-man will come out of the blackness and say, "Well well, Mr Freeman."
I have been thinking about this, what happens after death?
Well, they put you in a morgue for a while. Depending on how you died and how you wanted your remains to be disposed (If you didn't specify anything your family decides) a couple of things could happen. If you want to be buried, they'll pump you full of preservatives so you don't stink up the place. They put you in your best suit and apply some make-up so you look less like a corpse and more like a guy who drank too much and passed out. That's unless you die in a car crash or something in which case they probably won't have an open casket. Either way you then go in the ground. Alternatively they'll just burn you up, put you in a jar, and then you're either put in some kind of memorial place, dumped in the ocean, or placed over the fireplace. I had an aunt who had her ashes placed on another grave, I don't know how common that is. Did that answer your question?
I have a couple of theories... 1. the strangest part is what if you die then you suddenly "wake up" to the actual "real world" from a capsule as if everything is a simulated reality? Or it could make sense in a Solipsist view that this world/reality was created for one person (to either enjoy or actually suffer...) and everyone else are just characters? You never know that this person might be me (perhaps I was put here as a personal punishment or even a dream/nightmare of somekind and hopefully "learn my lesson" after I die when I wake up to the actual "real world" or maybe perhaps I put here to experience to whatever they want me to experience). 2. You get reborn in a another dimension/realm/universe/etc completely different than ours as if our consciousness is like flowing energy that has to exist somewhere? 3. We just float around the universe.
Hey! i have a cool Idea! If you dont like your current life! just kill stab yourself and reborn again!
