Hey! i have a cool Idea!
If you dont like your current life! just kill stab yourself and reborn again!
Yeah man! It's all the rage!
Nothing. We become wormfood. I know it's hard to imagine nothing (darkness is something, so what must nothing be like?), but as long as you've done something with the small blip in time called 'your life', there really is nothing to worry about.
The part of the brain housing your consciousness shuts down, you simply stop existing, and you already experienced it. Try to remember anything that happened when you were sleeping, in a coma, etc. You can't. Now just think that except it never ends.
The thing is, nobody really knows what happens after you die but I'm not so sure why the "After you die = Nothing" is such a popular answer like we have any empirical proof of it.
I dont think anything happens after you die. You just simply stop existing, into nothingness. No thoughts, no anything. forever.
I died once when I was on anestetic.
It was nothing.
You didn't die. Your heart stopped beating for a few seconds, and then people made it restart

Thats biologically, this is about thinking spiritually, if you honestly want to think that when its the end of life that you forever exist in a pit of darkness, then i respect your view, however that is very dim.
Being afraid of death is good, makes you care more about living.
You have a funeral

:emo:
You turn into a ghost and you can poses people and make them kill themselves. Then you can become friends with there ghosts and have a fun time,

That is fucking good read
This is facepunch, so probably hell
Depending how you die, you become part of a statistic figure in a medical conference powerpoint presentation.
No way to tell for certain, so we might as well just hope for the best, right?
I would want reincarnation, somehow. But I'm not quite sure what I really believe.
Just see it as a sleep without dreams. And probably dumbed down even more.
I would want reincarnation, somehow. But I'm not quite sure what I really believe.
I'm not sure anyone is really... Lets live life, fucking enjoy it, not commit suicide, care for loved ones and strive to be a nice person.
We don't have to classify our beliefs but we have to believe for the sake of our own well-being, nobody is forcing you to follow a faith or trend.. Make it your own.
I am pretty sure you have another life, as a animal or a human again.
kinda like a video game, once you finished the game, you can start again.
You go to heaven or hell, Depending on how God will judge you and how you were and acted you entire life
Were all toys of gods massive cloning kit.
Go back to before we were born.
Scientifically, your old cells become food/nutrients for another species, and as you move up the food chain, you'll eventually become a sperm/egg that gets fertilized and become a new person.
Religiously, Heaven/Hell
Uh, don't be so taken over by the idea of what happens after you die. Nobody knows. Just enjoy your time as a living human.
But if you were to ask me, I feel that reincarnation is the most stable answer to what "happens" after you die. Life has to consume other life to live, and it integrates the life it takes into itself. So in a way, you become "alive" again within a different life form.
It's nothing new. It's just the same life cycle that's been going on for billions of years. So don't stress about it man... :frogc00l:
I like to believe in something like the Jedi do about dying, you just go into the universal force once your time is gone, Like an atom or energy can't be created or destroyed, why does this mean the end? what if every single atom is an person with a thought about something, everything is life, even if the area is devoid of anything, what if we all live forever, just by existing? energy never dissipates completely, why should we? Eisenstein himself said it, "all that energy has to go somewhere"
Don't you just wait a few seconds and then re-appear somewhere else? :v:
Saw this the other day. Interesting how this thread came up at the same time:

Holy crap never even thought of that
lol epic 10th page post, eh?
really? you've died before?
"This happens!"
"That happens!"
"You teleport to Mars!"
"Nothing happens."
"OH REALLY HAVE YOU DIED BEFORE I DON'T THINK SO?"
How dare I argue what all evidence points to
What evidence? Science doesn't even know what consciousness is bro, let alone what happens after death. All that science shows at the moment are the physical processes that happen after death (decomposition and such).
I don't know why so many accept "nothing" as the definitive answer to what happens after death. I personally don't think such things could even be tested and measured by science.
Show me evidence that proves consciousness is a direct construct of the physical brain.
