So tell me have you died yet? Because nobody knows what happens. Maybe we get reincarnated, maybe nothing happens at all but hey why don't you find out what happens yourself? Maybe i am being a bit harsh but you seem like an angry person Mr Conan.
There's absolutely nothing to indicate consciousness has some magical quality the separates it from the physical mechanisms that support it. You brain shuts down, your consciousness is gone. That's it.
you respawn after three seconds
That is unless you betrayed or committed suicide then it'll bump it up to 10 seconds.
Superman flies down, and grabs you, and takes you to his fortress of solitude, and then he injects you with kryptonite and you become the new guardian of earth, and the old superman flies off to new krypton to be with his people and to rule as it's rightful king.
You don't die, with infinite probabilities you will go down the line that means you live forever. [editline]08:19PM[/editline] Quantum Immortality
I've always thought something like this aswell, thought I was the only one. Even as we live, we have infinite possibilities, as there are infinite possibilities to what could happen after death, which would mean something would prevail after death. So I stick with either nothing, or reincarnation.
7 Page later, nothing of value happened... Cmon guys: NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DEATH!!! So shut up and keep your redundant theories to you (because honestly, there are too many people saying the same things). [sp]on a side note, there is nothing after death, admit it, guys.[/sp]

People are posting their theories and criticizing eachothers, if you don't want to participate then get out.

I try not to pick a side but... It's always bothered me. I am seeing through my eyes. I am thinking, breathing, e.t.c. I just can't believe that everything would stop. How could I not exist? How could I cease to...be? Try it. Just try imagine not existing. You can't. Because it's impossible to not exist. One can not be gone, when he has. How can someone who knows how they feel right now just...stop doing so. How can they lose every thing and just...stop? To me, it's impossible. Call me crazy and kooky, but...I just can't find the words to phrase it. Eh..
Game over. It's all gone. Nothing more.
:buddy:
God this is such a good read. If this was truly how the world worked, though, we would never know. It's a neat idea though, right, reincarnated versions of me?
As Captain Hook said, "Death is the only great adventure I have left". I personally think that something happens after we die. I also believe that there is a God, or some higher power. I'm no Saint, but I try to be as kind to everyone as I can, even if they don't deserve it. Also, some Baaawww material.
You experience it every day, it's the same as sleeping. not dreaming
There's absolutely nothing to indicate consciousness has some magical quality the separates it from the physical mechanisms that support it. You brain shuts down, your consciousness is gone. That's it.
But if that were true, then your memories would be erased. If your memories are erased, then you would never even have experienced life. If life feels like it never occured, then why would you have your memories you have now?
But if that were true, then your memories would be erased. If your memories are erased, then you would never even have experienced life. There is no way it is possible for you to be nothing. The mind can not be lost forever, because the concept of nothingness is...improbable? Thanks sir for sharing my opinion. G'day.
How do you know your not already dead that we are in heaven or hell?
How do you know your not already dead that we are in heaven or hell?
Why would a heaven have wars and famine? Why would a hell have happiness, love, and hope? That is the question.
How do you know your not already dead that we are in heaven or hell?
That's foolish.
You should put a gun to your head and pull the trigger so you can find out.
If anyone really wants to experience death just go get some sort of surgery where they knock you out. You'll wake up a while later with no recollection of what happened besides the moments before being knocked out. Its like magic
God this is such a good read. If this was truly how the world worked, though, we would never know. It's a neat idea though, right, reincarnated versions of me?
Of us you mean. So wait, does this make all sex ever actually masturbation?

The laws of physics are laws because they cannot be bent or broken or twisted, and they fucking dictate ORDER CANNOT COME FROM DISORDER WITHOUT AN INPUT OF ENERGY Do you know what this means? When you die the chemical bonds that hold you together are broken down, that means your conscious mind dies when the chemical bonds stop being re made and broken by the input of energy (eating food and breathing) This means, when you are dead you are permanently dead, no more existence for you. Unless someone somehow sees you worthy enough to go through millennia slowly meticulously and laboriously remaking every single bond in your body exactly as it was before the cause of death. And even then YOU would be brain dead most likely. There is no afterlife, there is no reincarnation, there is nothing, come to terms with it, deal with it and you go on your merry way.

But he isn't because there is no infinite energy in the universe other wise we would all be dead. No actually better than that, if god existed and he was infinite energy, we would never have had the chance to exist in the first place because the proto universe wouldn't have been able to cool down, which means no formation of matter ,no formation of stars or the heavy elements they create. Which means no supernovas, which means no carbon to create life. No life, nothing to observe the universe and ponder about the very shit that created us.
But he isn't because there is no infinite energy in the universe other wise we would all be dead.
but god is like super powerful and does magic and stuff with his buddy jesus.
but he's an egotistical narcissistic prick and his sons all holier than thou.
but god is like super powerful and does magic and stuff with his buddy jesus.
lol troll
but jesus loves me cause the bible says so and like everyone knows thats infallible truth and stuff.
lol troll
:orks:
You use the brain to perceive things around you. When the brain's function ceases, you die and you're unable to perceive and think anything. Therefore, there is NOTHING after or during death, and since you can't think, you won't feel like you're trapped in a dark room. Hell, you won't even KNOW you're in a dark room.
I'm a Christian, but I believe God gives you what you want. If you're a Christian, Heaven/Hell. If you're a Hindu/Buddhist, reincarnation. Muslim, you go where they go. Atheist?
It's not the destination, it's the trip. If you find bliss and fullfillment when you're religious, then you're either a satanist, or just bad at being religious, because most joys are against the rules. As an atheist, you're not held back, and allowed to treasure every day of your life.
