What sorts of paint/paper/inks/materials would you need to do this kind of art? it's gorgeous
These are all on cold press watercolor paper.
The pens I used are just cheap art pens; I'm going to be getting some nice ones soon.
The paint is a mostly watercolor, but I used some gauche and a little acrylic on the last one.
Thanks again for the comments guys
I'm starting to really get into the look of ink and/or watercolor artwork.
If i wanted to get into it should i just go for it and paint things or should i take lessons or something?
Just have a go at it. It's not hard.
Artists don't need classes when switching from one medium to other ,their base skills come naturally through analogy.
That is some insane skills you got.
Top part of the first image is amazing.
Thanks guys

I'm in the process of painting this one, it should be done tomorrow.
Wow. These all have a deep meaning and are really cool concepts that I can really appreciate.

Artistic x 1
Uh, no, they don't have deep meaning, and trying to say you see one doesn't make you look philosophical. They're fantastic art but there IS no undertone, unless you count the whole "legal system is evil" one
Some were created with a theme in mind, others weren't. Just depends on how you look at it.
Amazing work. I have the bird one as my background
Amazing. These would make really awesome album covers.
Wow man, the first one is my favorite
How long did it take you to do the last one?
If by the last one you mean the .gif, I did that over a week or so, but probably around 6 hours actual drawing time.
If you meant the one with the masks, that one took a long ass time. A few months on and off.
New stuff:
(this one's a little fuzzy, I'm going to see if I can get a better picture.)

W.I.P. This final version has most of the ink done. It's bigger (16x20) than the rough draft (11x15).

EDIT: This is a wedding gift for my sister, I forgot to get a good scan unfortunately.

I would love to buy some prints of these (depending on the price).
Incredible.
Fuck me, I want one of those. Probably the best I've ever seen in this forum. You don't happen to be selling, do you?
holy fuck. You are the god of all artists.
Fuck picasso
Incredible.
If you make blow ups at decent prices I'd buy them. I am looking for a poster, but most are generic that you can find ( Band, famous art, etc. ) I'd love something original like this. Amazing artist, please keep it up.
I love these. put them on shirts!
I like the second and third ones, that forth one looks so painstaking, I could never have enough patience to do that. That arc-ey background with the clowns too, man your lines are so crisp aswell. :downs:
Thanks a lot guys :)
I don't have a way to sell prints currently, and I would kind of feel like a doucher asking for money for these. I guess after looking at them for so long I only see the mistakes haha. But it's a possibility I'm looking into for the future.
What mistakes?
Serious question, I'm curious now.
Just little technical things mostly, but you learn to adapt. And there's always something lost in translation between the idea in my minds eye and what ends up on the paper. That's what practice is for I suppose :)
