Not everything comes with pages of backing though, people make opinions. The way it sounds, you wanted an annotated bibliography with every post we make and a couple of internal citations.

I very rarely see anyone put evidence for backing or anything. Most of this debating on any of these threads is opinion with some general knowledge backing.

There's only so much one can catch and so much one can do, but I already knew his ban history when I took action against him. There's a certain nuance between making claims full of vitriol and stating your opinion.
Regardless, this thread is not about disputing bans, so unless you wish to have the thread closed I suggest you resume debate on the OP's topic.

Also, Anime rather grinds my gears. I did try to watch some with subtitles to avoid the ultra high frequency sonic weapon that is the English dubs but I could never get into it.
It was a mix of the drawing styles (just about all of which I don't like) and the way that the ones I saw liked to over exaggerate sodding EVERYTHING!
The men either looked like girls or a walking sack of potatoes and the girls looked like fetish prostitutes. (I am aware this is different on a case by case basis.) It's just far too... over the top.
I mean, the effects, sound effects, reactions to situations, they all are just so overly dramatic to the point that I can almost TASTE the sodding cheese.
And don't get me STARTED on the voice acting.
Now rather that shift through and find some of he rare "decent animie" that one can supposedly find, I'd rather avoid the situation all together.
Also what really puzzles me is that grown men seem to obsess over the "younger" animie girls. They set them as their avatars, quote them, reference them etc... These are what appear to be 12-14 year old girls and you obsess over them. It just confuses me and it winds me up that the feel the need to reference them at you.
I guess I hate anime by way of proxy, Much of it's community pisses me off so i'd rather not be associated with them.

Even if your stereotypes were true, that really isn't the case since anime differed throughout the years. The genres, the animation, and the community were completely different in the 90's than it was in the present.
