Oh ok so he's just being a retard.
Odd, it's like different people can have a different sense of humor or something.
but this is about as objectively humorous as watching paint dry with the additional bonus of a douche
this guy is a genius, i wanna do this
You guys are idiots if you're taking him seriously. He's taking funny videos and playing dumb to be funny. If you've watched any of the other videos, especially 3, you'd know that. He's not some sort of "you're always being filmed so wake up sheeple!" nutjob, he just uses the fact that there are other cameras in most of the places he's filming to confuse the people he is filming. It's a joke, a prank, a bit of fun, whatever, not some sort of anti-government big brother nanny-state spying protest. You big dummies. Also, he is in fact in public areas in almost all of the videos, and does not in fact need permission to film the people, sure it's still a dick move but again, joke, prank, etc. [editline]spelling error[/editline] Prublic? What am I, Dr. Steve Brule?
Regardless of his intent, it still leaves a poignant remark about why we put up with certain privacy breaches, but not others.
2 minutes in makes it seem like he's trying to make a point about PRISM or something, but he's going about it in a fucking annoying way. Or maybe that's the point.

I don't think it's funny, but it is extremely interesting to see each person's response.
Except it is made with an agenda in mind, so I don't know what to tell you
There is no description on any of the videos, his accounts "about" section is blank and he doesn't comment or give you any reason to think there is an agenda in the video, so any agenda you perceive is exactly that, perceived. You can think what you want, but only crazy people in the comments would give you any reason to believe there is some sort of agenda or goal, and we all know that listening to and especially believing comments on YouTube is ill-advised. [editline]banana[/editline] And again, to anyone who thinks this is serious and agenda driven, I suggest you view the Asians playing cards and the crack whore in #3. Those are way too clearly comedic.
I'm sure a few years ago on FP it was a very popular and often-repeated opinion that surveillance is evil and that the UK in particular has cameras on every corner and is basically Airstrip One. Does no one else remember this?

Sounds pretty clear that he has an agenda.
i dont care about whether or not this makes the guy a prick or not but these are really entrancing for some reason i watched all of them
In America, most surveillance cameras are there to protect the owners of the property not the people on it, even if it's public property. Should any crime happen between customers there like a Car Break in, they will not release footage or look through it to help them unless it directly affects them.
They will release it when the victim calls the cops, and the cops go in to the store and ask for the tape because it's evidence of a crime.
