Ha want the credit card info and shit for a empty non rechargeable prepaid card of mine?
oh shit seriously i just transfered 50 bucks fuuuuuuuck
it only takes like $1 from $50 not even that, probably less.
You can't use gift cards on Paypal I tried.
I just linked my bankaccount (Eurocard wich uses Meastro), this takes the money directly from your bankaccount however so don't lose or give away your password.
Get a debit card from Wal-Mart. Thats what I did. They're like 3 dollars
When using paypal account for steam purchases, you must have the full amount for the game, If the game costs 60 dollars but costs 10 dollars on sale, you must have a balance of 60 dollars in your paypal even if the game costs 10, only 10 dollars will be taken of course but that is just the way it works.
I've been able to buy games on sale without the full amount. I just bought Plants vs Zombies for $4 and I have no more than $6 in my paypal. Full price is $10
You can't use gift cards on Paypal I tried.
I have a bunch of gift cards linked to my Paypal. You probably just have to register them through the gift card's site.
link your bank account

Because I'm pretty sure that during the summer sale I had $40 on my paypal and couldn't buy the Call of Duty pack ($35 at the time) because i needed all the funds (it told me to link a card). Good thing I didn't buy the pack though. And OP, go to your bank, set up a bank account and get some money in it, and ask them to get a Mastercard set up for you. Age restriction might be 16years (it is in Australia). Stop trying to work through your parents and get a little independance in you while you can [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
link your bank account
Bank accounts take 3-5 days transfer money across. It's bullshit though because it took ~1.5 weeks each time I tried to do it from Australia [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline] And to be honest, I'm going to avoid working with PayPal, all i need it for is eBay purchases and after all the shit with closing down accounts, i don't find it that trustable anymore.
grow a set go to a bank and get a debit card instant moneys anywhere

get your mum to gift you the game..
Rob a bank......solves many of your problems OP
you can, I bought like 4 things off steam and my paypal isnt connected to a bank account at all
What is the "legal" age limit on steam? Shouldn't you have a credit card by then?
I'm sorry but I risked $5 on a sketchy chinese website knowing full-well I wouldn't give a damn if my shit didn't arrive. It did arrive and works fine but regardless, $5 is only $5. I occasionally mow a lawn for this guy I know for $25, takes about an hour to do the work. Probaly costs him a landscaping company $50-$100 to do the same job. (Admittedly, it's an hour of hard work though). Not to mention I work minimum wage and still drag in about $700/month. You should get a job.
Steam Wallet. Wallah, problem solved.
just link a bank account. it takes like 3 days to transfer the money but that doesn't really matter because you'll get the game anyway. when i buy something on steam i can use it instantly witouth actually having transferred the money for 3 days, there is a small amount of places that require direct payment, but most accept delayed.
Nope
Actually yes, The only difference to this rule is if your bank offers instant transaction and verification on your account.
Its only 5 dollars. Thats all. And I bet its fixable, you are just too incapable of figuring it out.
http://www.dealextreme.com/ Buy something
We're poor :frog:
Then go and buy food instead of video games.
Can't you send the money back by clicking the "Refund" link on the transaction page?
