So are there really only two confirmed launch titles, Zelda and 1..2..Switch? Arms is "spring", Splatoon 2 is "summer", Mario is "holiday", and none of the third-party games got launch dates that I saw. And from the look of which games got trailers and which didn't, it looks like the only third-party games in shape to hit launch day are ports like Skyrim.
alright ive got a couple of questions
SMT and Persona games are hugely based on Jungian psychology. Expect many dicks.
Given how notoriously bad Nintendo's online services are, paid online was the absolute last thing I wanted to hear. I like playing smash 4 online. I would not however, pay for that experience. When 1/3 games I suicide because its too laggy to enjoy.
The only way and I mean ONLY way I can possibly justify it is if they massively improve it because if they're still providing terrible quality online at a premium price then I'm out Also not excited to see whatever horrible profile/account system they have
You're assuming there will be any type of profile/account system. Did the Wii U even move off of the friend-code?
Yeah, it had NNID's and Miiverse.
Will it be paid online because it has voice chat now? I wouldn't be surprised if that is the reason.
"The paid online service will be available in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico only at launch." What about other countries then?

Even though it was only shown briefly, I'm hyped for Disgaea 5 on the Switch!
Didn't realize the controllers were made of plutonium. Looked like plastic to me. Damn those prices. Everything on that list needs to be like $15 cheaper.

those peripheral prices make me worry that the console will be able to compete with the PS4 pro considering that you'll probably be able to nab one on sale for less than you can get a switch+pro controller
32 gb is worryingly small
I'm glad they learned from the Vita's mistake though. Fuck proprietary memory cards.
I don't mind 32GB as long as large SD cards can be used. I know the 3DS has a limit on SD size.
32 gb is worryingly small
MicroSD cards are absurdly cheap, and if their statement about microSDXC is accurate, can go up to 256gb. Plus, you'll most likely be able to swap out sd cards. That's way better than however much storage they could have provided at the $300 price point.
yeah micro sd as memory isn't actually a terirble idea (still surprised thye went with 32 gb again though) i expect switch agmes to be smaller in size than ps4 and xbone game maybe getting a 64GB card will be enough for a while
I missed the presentation and I can't find any proper information about Switch right now. The detachable screen has a charging port, right? So I can play on trains, planes etc. and charge it at the same time / charge it while it's off etc?

yes. and considering it's battery life of 2 and and half hours you will need to be always connected to truly enjoy it. not a 3ds replacement but i can see people bring it on a trip and playing in a hotel room
32 gb is worryingly small
Keep in mind that games aren't gonna be nearly as large on this thing as they are on PS4 or Xbox One given the hardware, so it doesn't need nearly as much space I don't think plus SD cards aren't that expensive so, even more a moot point
Was kinda vaguely considering whether getting one of these would compliment a gaming pc. Paid online kinda just makes me not even have to think about it, there's no way i'll ever purchase something that charges me for using my own internet.

300 euros(probably) for the switch, no games and then if I want a proper controller I would have to pay an extra 69 euros?? Well, I might have considered buying it but that is a price that I don't think I wanna pay for this at least on launch. Not to mention the paid online, nintendo shooting yourself in the foot again are we? Plus the launch lineup doesn't really appeal to me and an open world zelda game just makes me uncomfortable because it really feels like nintendo just saw skyrim and such and thought "oh the kids want that nowadays?"
Oh man what in the sweet diddly fuck are these prices? I can already imagine the wave of angry parents who have to pay for new joycons.
I actually really don't mind the battery life as long as they let you use the AC adaptor to charge and play. Might not be road trip material but I'm really not at a lot of places where I'd be playing games and also there's no wall outlet.
I hope the Switch is as resilient as the 3ds is to dropping :s:
