How is that denied entry to places? Do people get in trouble for wearing Che Guevara shirts? No.
seriously 18 is too young to understand the world and ~communism~
seriously if i saw someone walking around w/ a hammer and sickle tattoo i'd stay away from them
I'd laugh and high-five them. But still don't get one.
because it is like being a nazi
communism doesn't work
It's is the COMPLETE opposite to Nazism.
no but those are just shirts of a revolutionary
h+s and you actually being communist = bad??
I gotta say, I don't really mind people liking Communism or what have you. But literally, being a Communist and tattoing a hammer and sickle to your neck.. it's like tattooing a Swastika to your neck. Why would anyone want to make themselves outcasts to modern society?
Edit:
I wrote this BEFORE everyone got onto the Nazi conversation. For the record.

I'm not just some angsty kid who read the wikipedia page of communism. I've read the Communist Manifesto and some of Lenin's works.
ok stupid think about it this way:
you're 70 years old
your grand children, and now adult children are with you
they see the hammer and sickle.
[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
that is the sole reason im not getting any tatoos

I still don't understand why you think having a tattoo with a hammer and sickle makes you a outcast.

yeah lets permanently scar a symbol into your skin
I'm not just some angsty kid who read the wikipedia page of communism. I've read the Communist Manifesto and some of Lenin's works.
Exactly. If you want someone to yell at it's the kids who wear Che Guevara shirts and think they're a revolutionary.
for example: you are a "communist" when you are 18
50 years later you're not but you still have this tattoo blaring IM A COMMIE on you
You don't like tattoos in the first place so you wouldn't like it no matter what I got.
I still don't understand why you think having a tattoo with a hammer and sickle makes you a outcast.
The typical person doesn't look at a tattoo like that and says "Oh, hey, what an individual." or "It's just like anyone else, but he has his own hobbies." It's more of a "What is wrong with this weirdo? I'm not a Communist. This is America. What kind of freak tattoos that onto their neck?"
If I saw it, I'd assume they were some socially unadjusted angsty guy.
Holden from Catcher in The Rye would do something like that.
You don't like tattoos in the first place so you wouldn't like it no matter what I got.
im ok w/ tattoos as long as it isn't
BITCH KILLA~ and then you're 60 and your grandchildren see it
or
~mary~ and you get divorced from ~mary~
point is
hammer + sickle = dumb tattoo
[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
code you said it perfectly
[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
stupid if you're so intent on being a communist move to north korea or somewhere where it's accepted (NOTE: VERY FEW PLACES, NOT EVEN RUSSIA.)
You don't like tattoos in the first place so you wouldn't like it no matter what I got.
For the record, I don't disapprove of tattoos unless you go all biker and tattoo elaborate bands and portraits on your arms.

I never hear people having problems with me being a communist. Most people in my school know about it and don't treat me any different. One of my teachers finds it interesting and likes to talk with me about it.

Fun fact - after Putin's party the communist party is the most popular party in Russia and if Putin didn't rig the elections there's a good chance the communists would win. Plus Putin is basically a communist anyway.
I have no problem with someone being a communist even if I don't 100% agree with it.
I'm trying to imagine myself with a tattoo like that. It's so bad, it's not even funny. Especially if I decided to join the Military. I'd have everyone in my Platoon, no, my Company take a hit at me one time or another. I can imagine having my ass kicked on a daily basis.
Maybe I'm a little biased myself because I'm a proud American, I love my country as much as I possibly can and I don't believe in Communism, where as I have some confidence in the Capitalist system of economy and the Replica system of Government. But you also have to consider you live in a society that disapproves of Communism. Only twenty years ago we had people falsely imprisoned and lynched for being alleged Communists.

Haha, you have no idea what communism is do you.

It must just be an American thing, cause people don't give a shit about communism in Canada.

I added more to my last post. But I keep assuming everyone on this board lives in America. So, hell if I know about Canada.

ok stupid
you live with that tattoo for the rest of your life and see what your children and grand children, and your great grand children, and THE REST of your family thinks.
[editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
and they'll be like
"my granddad was a fucking communist jesus christ...!!!"

I understand where you're coming from. America still has REALLY strong anti-communist beliefs. In Canada we're a bit more left (the NDP, which is borderline socialist, is a major party).
