Sometimes I wonder why I still use Facebook anyway. When I first started using it I thought it would get me more friends in real life but it didn't.

I have 48 friends and I know all of them and talk to them on a regular basis in real life. I don't understand it though, there is this girl I know and I have her facebook and she has 2,400 friends. Why do people collect friends? They just add and accept friend invites from people they've never met and never talk too before.
My family aren't a bunch of stuck up douchebags so it won't be a problem.

After my mass deletion of Facebook friends I went down from 98 friends to 88 friends. About 10 of them are people I'm actually friends with and about 5 or 6 are family members. The rest are people I really don't give a fuck about.
