Are you kiddnig me? Canada is one of the most safe and stable countries in the world, not to mention the fact that it's a beautiful country.
I've never been there, but one of my aunts lives there and we talk about it a lot whenever she visits.
So far I've been in croatia, the chech republic, spain, greece, luxembourg, germany and austria. also a couple of other countries, but only when travelling through. If I ever get the money or opportunity to go overseas, I'd definitely want to go visit the US and Canada.

The US isnt a bad place, IMO, or at least the northeast/eastern coast isnt. The furthest ive ever been west is ohio, and I have never really had any problems with anyone, except for NYC, as cool as it may be to visit and shit, I hate it. As far as a tourist cares , yoyu might like it, just be careful and shit, etc, you should check out some rural parts of different states, people are generally more... folksier or i guess not as rude as in the city IMO or at least in NY. Binghamton is by far my favorite city type place. Oh, if you ever do go to the US, and actually listen to what i said, Newburgh, NY, is the most friendly, family safe place to be, ever.

If I ever go I'd probably check out Los Angeles, heard pretty good things about it
I don't like the "crony capitalism" that the US has going, it's a nice place I guess. I've been to quite a few states.
