Since some of you guys are ~pro~ gaymers, can someone recommend me a good mic? I'd like one for ArmA 2.

Go get a cheap $10 mic as many of the FPers would say, but if you want a headset get a desktop mic cut off the stand and tape it on.

Any logitech USB mic.

So today was the first time I actually noticed a girl who isn't fat and ugly that likes metal at my school and she's in my English class. But like always I'm too fucking scared to talk to her. I should really just stop paying attention to girls.

Just talk to her. About music.

Yeah be like, do you like X or Y band? What is your favorite sub-genre of metal? Try and ask questions about her because girls like to talk about themselves (and they like to know you are genuinely interested in them), while also interjecting some facts about you in there to show that you are interested in the same things and to keep the conversation going and possibly into new subjects.

Whenever you talk to a girl, always end your statement with a question (but don't overdo it). It keeps the conversation going.

I'm probably not going to bother with her anyway, I'm too much of a nerd to get the punk/metalhead/goth girls, which sucks because those kinds of girls are what I'm most attracted to.

You just got to talk like this, you know? To keep the conversation going you have to keep them engaged? Questions are a great way to do this? I guess.. what do you think?

I don't have to go to school today :smug: I stayed in school last night till 17:30 to man the stands and give people information about being a machine technician. It was fun, on the right of our stand was a buddy who's a 3rd year miner (geo technician) and two girls that are 2nd year OVT's (ecology) that I've met a year ago, so we had a lot of fun talking. At one point nobody was on the miner/ovt stand so I went there and covered for them, which was funny because I barely knew anything about that. Half of our props were fucked up, luckily the stand on the right had electricians and machinists so they borrowed some tools to my friend who fixed the whole thing up.

Dead Rising 2? I was horrified when all the reviews of MoH were comparing it to CoD. MoH is the most realistic shooter I've ever played, and Internet boards are full of losers saying Modern Welfare 2 is much better. I lost even more faith in my generation.
