Daily Life Thread - General

I am in this situation. I do drive. I am probably the most depressed person I know. I'm working on it and it's working. Just constantly tell yourself to be confident and do something. I used to always tell myself that no one liked me or wanted to see me at events or whatever. I was wrong. My pessimism was what was keeping me from seeing that people actually did like me. Just go do stuff, don't worry about if nobody wants to do something with you, have you asked people if they want to do stuff and they straight up told you no? Chances are they do; people in high school are very busy and forgetful. [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] Also, the people that are rejecting you are missing out. If they reject you for no good reason then they aren't worth your time anyway.

The thing I love about myself (how fucking gay is that?) is that I'm super optimistic and I never feel stressed. Life is great 24/7.

And walking around the mall alone, which is pretty much all you can do here if you don't have friends and want to get out of the house, isn't exactly my idea of fun.

My life is great, I just wish I had a girl friend.

You could meet girls or make new friends that way.

Trust me people don't always think to ask, you have to be assertive and YOU have to ask them. If they reject you then fuck them, find some other people.

Alright so we've solved my problem with friends. Now how do we solve my problems with girls? I'm pretty sure my friends don't hang out with any and my friend who has the awesome metalhead sister probably won't be friends with me anymore if I start dating her.

Go talk to some girls in your classes. Put on your ~coolface~ and just get to meet them. As lame as it sounds, it's much better to try and fail (or succeed!~) than to not try at all. That's how I've met most of my friends.

I socialize with just about every group of people, and I guess I'm a part of each. There's not one I like the most, I like a bit of everything.

Talk about the class, the teacher, people. Anything is fine, as long as you're not awkward about it. I've talked to a girl wearing a purity ring and outright asked her if it only covers penis/vagina touching or foreplay too. We had a whole conversation about it, t'was nice seeing a different view.

Word of advice though, [i]don't[/i] try and immerse yourself in a group of people you don't know. There is this kid who always tries and hangs out with people all the time and no one ever invites him to anything or ever wants him there. He is awkward as fuck and never says anything.
