I can text p. fast. Once I get a new phone though it's game over man game over.

I text incredibly slow. Partly because my phone doesn't have a real keyboard and partly because I never have a reason to text so I don't get any practice at it.

I usually just call them instead of trying to text back.

oh god I love lightspeed systems, my school uses it, it's so easy to get around, just type https:// instead of http:// and it's all good

My phone's got a QWERTY keyboard. It's easier but you can only use your thumbs.

Makes me miss school. EDIT: Also I finally watched Generation Kill since you people spoke so much about it. Holy shit this series is awesome. I could watch a show called "Person talking while driving a humvee" for hours and never get tired.

School ended here on Thursday except for the Catholic private school down the street.

Venom and Codemonkey, let me give you a template to getting girls; 1. Start conversation. It can be about anything. If you have a lot to say about ANYTHING, girls will listen. 2. When it's time for you to part, say "We should hang out sometime, can I have your number?" It's not too early, just do it. If she says no, she's not interested. Give up hope on her now. 3. If she says yes, wait three days to call. Wait three days between each call, this helps to make you seem like less of an obsessive creep. 4. In that call, establish a time, place, and activity. If you suggest a time and they say no, they may or may not suggest another time. If they do, their interested. If they don't, their not. 5. On the agreed time go to the place you agreed to meet. 6. ???????? 7. PROFITT!!!!!

Kawaii pretty much has it right. Although the calling part can be substituted for texting if you are in high school because girls like that (still call them though).

Even so I just feel infinitely awkward starting conversations for no reason with people I've never met. I can do everything else, I just can't take the first step. That's just me, I know I'm not going to fix it or do anything different so I just going to forget all about it.

Sure there are plenty of girls in all my classes that I could try to talk to, but I just can't start a conversation with people for no reason.
