To this very day I'm baffled by Betheshda's animations.
They're a big-shot AAA game-dev and publisher.
Yet for some reason the latest game finally managed to get animations decent on a technical level but visually boring. Which might probably less with their improvement on the animators part and more with getting fancier mo-cap equipment.
It feels like they've strung along their lead animator / animator coordinator from their earlier days, whom hasn't improved in 20 years and they haven't had the heart to replace the guy.

if you're talking about the window lacking DoF and not the boneitis, a lot of games will have that due to the glass material being visible to the depth buffer
