Huh reminds me of when my parents bought a car at a dealership which came with a few problems. When I explained the problems to them, one of which was the car stalling for no reason, the boss told me I had to "forget about driver's ed cars and drive this one like the real deals", with the basis that driver's ed cars you just need to let go of the clutch gently and it starts rolling, and this one doesn't and needs a bit of acceleration aswell (which in reality doesn't at all).
Then the car stopped working completely, had to be towed twice because half the fixes applied didn't work at all. It took them almost a whole month of tinkering to find out what I had found out in 5 mins of searching the web, that it was all because of a faulty relay, common to every model from 2000 and before. The stalling got fixed aswell, so apparently I didn't have to "forget driver's ed cars"...
Then I asked the owner of the dealership if it was relay 109 doing the problems, and he just went "how did you know?!" :v:
Now imagine having a couple more problems like these, getting half assed fixes that don't work, and having the repair garage boss saying "you're doing it wrong" while you find out what's causing the problems way before they even dream about it.
