The smugness is positively palpable.
Good lord Marvel's comics division is in the shitter. The only redeeming titles are ones that are FAR away from any kind of mainstream continuity (like Drax or Spider-Man/Deadpool), since those seem to be able to escape from the editorial mandate of "insult our core audience/pander to people who don't buy our books".
