70´s
90's music was terrible. Even Metallica created shit albums in the 90's.
omg op you're sooo vintage
Probably the most sarcastic and intelligent comment in this thread :v:
Some music videos.
Completely this. Also, some blues and rock related stuff from the 60s - 80s is pretty good aswell.
70´s
Agreeing with this statement earns you great respect.

don't be purists, listen to music that sounds good from all periods
Bit a classic 90's Eurodance and a a honda civic, brings back memories.
Modest Mouse in the 90s is my favorite Modest Mouse. Chill out man, he doesn't seem to be trolling this time.
you can't actually be serious, I love all modest mouse but in the 90s they were terribly unorganized they were literally hit and miss check out the moon and antarctica then good news, there's like 3 amazing songs in moon and antarctica and the rest are annoying to listen to good news is full of great songs or to go back even further, the lonesome crowded west is full of screechy guitar sutff
80's is the best music nirvana is the ass end of all music
50's-80's, the best rock. Don't really listen to rock after that, I prefer bluesrock, or just rock that is bluesy and it's hard to find.
Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slayer, Jane's Addiction, Kyuss, Machine Head, Nirvana, The Prodigy, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix. All great artists from the '90s imo.

Second, I completely disagree with you. In all honesty, Good News is perhaps my least favorite MM album, next to that is We Were Dead. For me, Good News felt way to poppy and mainstream. The Lonesome Crowded West and Long Drive had a Lo-Fi sound that I just love to hear, and they were much more interested in the instrumental side of the music. I definitely respect your opinion, but a guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Just curious, what 3 songs from The Moon and Antarctica were you talking about? I honestly loved the whole album minus Dark Center of the Universe and Perfect Disguise.
90s music sucks

Primus was one of the only good things to come out of the 90s.

All generations have amazing music. Except for late 2000's and 2010. Christ, whoever decided to bring Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, etc. into the mix can just die.
