Today I found a guy online selling mostly-complete OD M40 gas masks for $25 apiece and complete ones for $50. I will post the link if he agrees to ship outside Georgia.

The guy is willing to ship and is in fact selling complete M40s for $50. The sales thread can be found here.
So I got green gas today.
My T91 is loud (awesome), has actual recoil (awesome), I didn't need to adjust the hop up, its pretty dead on.
Only thing though is its very hard to look down the sights, and I can't even look down the sight with my goggles on.
Is there any way to raise the sight or would an optic help?
optics like an Eotech or something with a high mount helps
Hey look:

Someone should split this with me.
fffuuuuuccckkk
i want to split that with you so bad :(((((((((
And then Catbarf and I jumped on that deal like some sort of dynamic duo of olde.
I'd love that tiny little M1100, then when the refs at my games are like "k pistols and shootguns only tyme" I'll go in and FUCK SHIT UP.
Too bad there isn't an easy way to make that broken one into a Masterkey.

Yes there is.
It is made of metal right?
Hell even plastic could work if you used apoxy instead of welding the rail mounts on.
The Maruzens need external power. So basically the gas has to be stored in the stock, grip or an external tank and hose. There is no way to power it without any of those, if the shells were the source of the gas than it'd work.

you make a PEQ box into a gas reservoir and rig the shotgun to that, or use the ready mag system thing and put a reservoir in an m4 mag and use that.
Hey, i've been wanting a Maruzen for a long time and i'm about to make a boatload of dosh for taking care of my neighbors shit while they're gone, is there any way i can get in on that and get a functioning one? Seeing as i don't already have the know-how and money to pay for and install parts...

I'm taking the working M1100 full length from it, to use for my SPAS project. Dunno what Notrabies intends with the Revision or 870.

I thought the shells stored the gas. Also you could just mount a source on the gun as well or something. It wouldn't be pretty, but it could work.
I'm thinking of getting the wooden full stock 870. Any objections/suggestions for me? Will most certainly be a birthday present, and my birthday is in August, so i've got time.

Most likely using the Revision as a parts gun (taking the custom lifter and extractor from it and swapping them in one of my normal Revisions) and probably gonna build a masterkey out of the M870 as I have the parts to do so (short of the masterkey receiver which I'll probably get with the XM-177) and rigging it to external CO2.
Theoretically I can use the same loadout for a shotgun heavy loadout or for the XM-177 without changing anything.

I wouldn't recommend it. You'll crave a shorter gun and one with more power and be dissatisfied.
If you absolutely must have one, get the 400fps upgrade or you're just gonna waste your own time.
Mine mostly just sits at home the majority of the time, I've only skirmished twice or so with it.
This just in, every airsofter here believes a JG M4 has a v3 gearbox.

I really don't like short shotguns. Then again i don't like short any gun so it's just my thing. It also has a slight bit to do with mag capacity but it's most just looks. But yeah, i already want to get that upgrade and get an external HPA line to hook up to some HPA tanks i have lying around.
I have to ask though, what's so special about the short shotguns? I really don't like the look or understand the craze at all.
The Maruzens are, from what I've gathered, pretty much exclusively CQB weapons unless seriously modified, so I imagine length is a concern in room clearing sort of stuff.
