Deathwig, where abouts in the UK are you? Like, what county? I think even though the UK is fairly small the only uk ifap members i know of from here are really far from eachother, Viralhatred lives out in Lincolnshire and I live right on the edge of Warwickshire/Staffordshire, i know someone else goes to Anzio Camp which is up north somewhere, but no idea where they actually live.
I live down in Kent, about two hours drive from Wolf Armouries and the Mall. E: God damn you're all northerners.
I'm based in county Durham floater.
Going to my "first" airsoft match today. Technically second, but since I'm properly equipped this time I'll call it my first. Very tight budget though. Went to a military surplus store and got a nice uniform, chest rig, and a mask. Other accessories too but eh. Also, I'm getting Starwars Empire logo patches for my friends and I. Really excited. Any tips for newbies? :D
i camped behind a rock yesterday got the entire team because they didnt notice me because fuck surroundings huehuehue
Alright, that's an exception. But in tighter fields, people tend to move around a lot to cover ground fast, and they can easily spot you.
And as opposed to a CQB field people in large outdoor arenas never expect a quick rush. They're used to sitting behind cover and sniping on semi.

If the match is getting stale and boring, run down the center of the field screaming "FUCK THE POLICE!" shooting over your head at anything that moderately looks like a silhouette of a person. That's what I do, at least.
Shadows are assholes.
fuk the sun
Fuck gravity
imagine if shadows were affected by gravity. yeah.

let's make it an oversized AEG imagine the hilarity as we move the giant barrel only to spew out 6mm bbs at other players
Dat gas mileage on the T-72. 4.5 Litres/Kilometer :suicide:
Or fill up a grenade launcher with pop-its and laugh while they impact random things.
Dat gas mileage on the T-72. 4.5 Litres/Kilometer :suicide:
Better gas mileage than all the huge trucks driving around my city :v:
"Oh yeah? I roll little pieces of clay into approximately 6mm balls and shoot them out of my tightbore. Sometimes they're 5mm, sometimes they're seven. Sometimes they don't shoot, and sometimes they trickle out of the barrel and don't go anywhere because they're .8g. But once in every hundred shots or so, I get a good round in." This is what I get when I talk to Kath so much. <3
Better gas mileage than all the huge trucks driving around my city :v:
Trucks in Canada only get 1.2Gallons/.62miles?
I've been looking at their GAZ69, UAZ469, and UAZ452 which are ranged around $2k-$3k but I'd have to look up the importing shit. For a small car like those, I read somewhere that it isn't too insane. Either way, it'd be cheaper than buying a new car in the US or a junky used car near me. I actually emailed them a while ago about their custom building on vehicles and they said they're able to add in seatbelts, replace the speedometer to MPH, along with many other things. They do a lot of work for collectors and vehicles for movie sets. GAZ69 would probably be the easiest because it's already over 25 years old so it doesn't need to go through emissions testing and whatnot, but the parts will be harder to find for repairs. UAZ469 is a lot easier to fix and there are a lot of parts available due to how popular it is. Then there's the UAZ452 that has a solid roof on it (and I'm pretty sure it has windows that you can roll down with a crank), but has a pedovan look. Those are my three dream cars that won't cost me a fortune.
Im back, and I gotta say it was soo much fun. Although therw was one point where the opposite team wasnt calling their hits, and the owner got really mad at them. Also, I did what you said Kath. Even though it was a no respawn round, nothing exciting was happening. I screamed it and everyone started laughing. Then I got pelted with hundreds off bbs :v:
