Apparently someone got shot THROUGH the cheek at Blacksheep by a p*.
"Paintball-Gas carriers and Systema are officially put on notice due to recent HOT GUN issues at Blacksheep (shared by Maj.B from Blacksheep). Maj. indicated that a player was SHOT THROUGH HIS CHEEKS (bb went into his cheeks and came out of his mouth), at his event recently and wanted me to know the problem out there with either Paintball-Gas guns or Systema ones. "
How long does EBair usually take to ship?
[editline]7th August 2012[/editline]
kinda belongs in questions thread. oh well.
That must've been quite a surprise. I always have nightmares of getting shot in the mouth and swallowing a BB, I don't think I'd want to play airsoft again if I got shot through my cheek.

It tooks my pbs about 2 weeks to get here.
After a bunch of thinking and mind debating, my next Rossia projekt will probably be the 4th Separate Tank Brigade loadout (since a lot of Rossiasofters like to run Afghan or modern VDV) so I'm gonna do a Russian Ground Forces loadout; it'll also save me a lot of time attempting to look for another load bearing vest

[editline]6th August 2012[/editline]
Things I need to look for:

6b23 flora

poor scottish boy who done good in school
they'll lap that fucking shit up and give me a nice sexy bursary
I found a website in the UK that sells gun parts, they've got Mini-14 sights, plastic, wooden, and muzzelite bullpup stocks, heat shields, flashhiders, and pretty much everything to build one except the reciever.
The temptation to try building an airsoft Mini-14 is strong, fuck having no money.
Would an M14 or M1 Carbine reciever be more suitable for it?
good luck hitting anything
i'll make the barrel out of rubber hosepipe so the accuracy is realistic

Wouldn't that mean Maruzen shotguns and all classics are out? And why Systema, what do they have to do with P* setups?
Wouldnt it be because you can easily change the cylinders in the Systema just like you can do the nozzle with the polarstar?
[QUOTE=stabbytheghost;37120675]Wouldnt it be because you can easily change the cylinders in the Systema just like you can do the nozzle with the polarstar?[/QUOTE]
Oh, right, I remember hearing about that being an issue. I forgot that Systema makes the PTWs.
I'm surprised they're actually banning this kind of stuff. I mean, what about SAWs with quick-change springs? Or split gearboxes? There are a lot of guns that can be made hot in a hurry.
Personally I think they could just wrap the offending parts in E-tape so it's obvious if the seal is broken, then just make it clear that anyone caught cheating will be banned for life. It would have the same effect, wouldn't mean banning guns that couldn't possibly be hot enough to hurt someone (eg Maruzen shotguns), and would 'encourage' fair play. Getting accused of not hit calling is one thing, forgetting a field rule is one thing, but there is absolutely no excuse for making your gun shoot hot. That's just a dick move and deserves instant banning IMO.
The only real issue I see is that P* setups are very easy to quickly change the fps, by adjusting settings on the gun. For those I would suggest tournament locks be mandatory.

someone do this
I like how he calls it a bullpup machine gun.
I mean, yeah I kinda guess it is, but it's more of an improvised bullet hose

This is an inline cloud strafer. They tend to suck, although they are clearly much easier to build than vortex strafers.

also my car should be out of the body shop on Wednesday or Thursday so I think I'll be headed there probably on the weekend
Well I got my boneyard gun in. I bought the CM035 but when I opened the box it's an RK02 :v:
I haven't tested it yet, I only peeked inside and I see the frightening pot metal gun, charger, cheap BBs, battery, sling, and magazine. Then comes the part I'm curious about, which is this black metal piece that was floating around next to the charger. It looks bent to me but I don't know what it is.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/fOYvP.jpg[/t]
The RK02 boneyard is $75 and the CM035 is $80 (which is charged and listed on my order) but if that little metal piece isn't very important on the gun then I won't try to get an RMA on this thing because I won't know the condition of the CM035, it could end up being worse. Until I test this thing, I believe I just got an $80 RK02 in new condition besides a little bent piece of metal.
I believe that is a piece for the upper handguard, on the back of the gas tube.

Yeah, it is.
The battery had a bit of charge left so I test fired it and it worked on both semi and full auto, so I filled up the hi-cap and fired it until the battery started slowing down and it works perfectly fine. The only problems I'll need to fix are the grip because the plastic piece that guides the screw in at the bottom is chipped off (I can probably super glue it actually), and the front side is tilted a little to the right so I'll need to figure out how I'll fix that. There's also a mystery piece of plastic that was in the box, I'll take some pictures of them later. Other than that the only downside is that it's pot metal and I spotted a little circle of rust under one of the screws, but for $80 it's a working gun that shoots nicely.
Either fix these things or attempt to get an RMA on it since they charged me for the boneyard CM035 but I received the RK02.
If you fix it you'll probably make a return null anyway or it'll be too much hassle. Just go ahead and repair it and be proud of your bargain.
it's still a steel receiver (i think) and vfc style instead of tm style
BE HAPPY
