Was originally going to chop up one of my CM m4s, but then I saw this and sort of fell in love: laylax (Prometheus)front with a laylax box mag. I'm thinking dual sector gear, 14.8 volt lipo series, etc. How ever I know jack shit about P90s and the funny names they give them because of loltrademarks. As much as I know about internals and brands, you guys actually seem to know more about what works out of the box than I do, because I void warranties right out of the box :3 Any ideas?
The best P90 is probably the TM one, it seems to be the only high-end P90 AEG on the market. But that is a phenomenally ugly gun in my opinion. It's not that I particularly hate airsoft guns that don't have a real-world equivalent, but I do hate guns that couldn't possibly work real-steel, like that STANAG-magazine-next-to-the-body look. It's your cash, and from a performance standpoint there's nothing wrong with it, but if you're going to lose the P90's short length and make it use STANAGs you might as well just use an M4. Maybe if you want a fishgun/sci-fi gun you could work your magic on this thing:
ive actually considered the fish gun m4. The idea with the p90 with a stanag adapter bit is it leaves room for a huge battery that goes where the mag would normally go, plus you could run cells in parallel in the p90 stock along with the cells on the top. Last night when I got the idea i had consumed lots of glorious finlandia vodka. In hindsight ive decided not to go with the laylax/nitro front end as it doesnt do what I thought it did when I first saw it. And it costs $100 + shipping from japan because nitro parts are rare as fuck outside of japan. The DSG gear set costs $100 already + 50 for a ARS pom cylinder/piston head combo + 30 for the spring and spacers for the dsg + ~75 for a fire control system + 60 for bearings and other small parts + 50 for a high torque motor + 60 for the stanag adapter +the gun itself. So 600 total me thinks with shipping and all that plus a guy nearby is selling a broke echo1 p90 for cheap I can use as a base. It should run better than anything in that price range you can buy off the shelf. Im in for a good time.
That was my first airsoft gun.
The p90 or the sci-fi gun?? :v:
The Scfi gun. That gun had a nice ROF on it just with a 8.4v battery on it.
Jat, I know I said I would talk to you today, but I have three papers, three projects, and other misc. things to take care of. Will probably chat you this weekend.
mw2*
Oh yeah, forgot it was in that first.
I can't decide if I should buy an Echo 1 AK-74M or RPK.
well both me and foreloaf are buying the 74M sometime this week
I can't decide if I should buy an Echo 1 AK-74M or RPK.
Get the RPK you can be rpk bros with foos, cardfan and i
Well I kind of want a 74M so I can do something like this And even if the RPK is a light support weapon, I'm not sure if I want to lug around a support weapon all day.
Get the RPK you can be rpk bros with foos, cardfan and i
and meeeeeee [editline]15th February 2012[/editline] RPK weighs next to nothing compared to a beltfed
and meeeeeee [editline]15th February 2012[/editline] RPK weighs next to nothing compared to a real support weapon
oh wait cardfan doesnt have an rpk does he? i guess i was thinking of you
oh wait cardfan doesnt have an rpk does he? i guess i was thinking of you
Nope, don't have one NOW but definitely will in the future.
asgi has sales on those things all the time it's like they're overflowing with rpks
who's getting a PKM when they come out? If they're not REALLY fucking heavy/and i'm not poor by the time they appear over here, i might invest in one. Depends if they turn out to be shit or not, too.
asgi has sales on those things all the time it's like they're overflowing with rpks
Gimme $200 cause they're on sale right now and I only have $62.

It's almost the same gearbox as the M60 you have, so I doubt performance will be much different. The only remaining questions are how good the box mag is and whether or not they fixed the craptacular hop-up.
I'm going to get a AK-74M or a PKM if I make a Russian loadout. It'll be probably upwards of a year though, I have all these other loadouts and guns I want to get.

On Hyperstealth's website you can buy ANA camo and a bunch of the other Spec4ce patterns http://www.hyperstealth.com/spec4ceorderpage.html And now I have a massive urge to make an Afghan loadout.

If i have the money i am so getting one of these when they come out. I love the PDW-R.
ohhh pretty. so nice to have this working again after 3 months :3
G36's are fun. What did you have to do to your's?
Is that just light reflecting or leds from a tracer unit?
well I derped and installed a systema pistonhead and it caused all kinds of problems. plus wiring up a scorpion FET is no small task. Have it wired up to the charging handle right now so I have to cock the handle back if I go dry and load a new mag. The bolt catch is retarded on the g36 anywys. Also precocking. So right now the build consists of promy helical gears, madbull v2 barrel, kwa bucking (no r-hopup yet hunterseeker5 is being a dildo) promy air nozzle, ARS piston/cylinder head, prommy spring, JB Unicorn piston. and stock KWA motor. Used to have a systema in there but it sort of died. One thing i've learned from this year long adventure with this gun, dont upgrade a kwa. so much proprietary crap. Just when I think it's done something goes derp. I wonder if people will laugh when I say I'm running a DMR with a 363mm barrel :V [editline]15th February 2012[/editline]
Is that just light reflecting or leds from a tracer unit?
tracer unit/bb sensor. wont fire if there isnt a bb in the hopup ofcourse i had that bit turned off just to see if it was running smoothly before i finish assembly.
RS SVD paid for :)
that's one funny-looking gun...
