To me your sale is quite even, hence not a great deal. However, if you enjoy gas guns far more than AEGs (like me), that trade could be quite beneficial for you. Also, I'm thinking about getting this for my TM http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=9111 or maybe this one http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=9113 Does anyone have any experience with Guarder kits? I've heard they're a PITA to install, but can be pretty good.
I just want this M60 gone since I have no use for a second one, so I put it up for about 30% lower than retail, but didn't get any offers besides this trade. If anyone here wants to buy it off me that'd be great, but I can see myself getting some use out of a shotgun and a machine pistol so it seemed reasonable. I've heard good things about those Guarder kits but also that your gas efficiency will drop significantly due to the heavier slide. I don't own one though so take that for what it is.
how much did you get the 43 for
how much did you get the 43 for
$250 shipped.
damn son
damn son
Hence why I'm fine with selling the VN for $300 shipped, or a trade worth thereabouts. As long as I at least break even I'm happy.
What do you mean by sinking into the barrel?[/QUOT The nub gets pushed and gets cought in the barrel opening and starts to sink in the more you adjust. Basicially how a ship would sink with is nose down.

I think your nub is too short, then- a taller one wouldn't be able to get far enough down to slip underneath the barrel window like that. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding the issue.

The thick one I had worked but I only had .25s at the time so it was overhopping them without giving a shit. If you can Please take a picture of your nub, I need other sources to work off of.

And actually contrary to what catbarf says, the kit is actually a little bit lighter than the stock slide and frame.
Guarder kits are fantastic. And actually contrary to what catbarf says, the kit is actually a little bit lighter than the stock slide and frame.
Shit really? The 1911 to begin with is fairly light.
Shit really? The 1911 to begin with is fairly light.
It definitely won't be any heavier. Although, the Guarder it's might be a little heavier than SD kits, so it might be about the same
And actually contrary to what catbarf says, the kit is actually a little bit lighter than the stock slide and frame.
Oh, really? I seem to remember reading that the metal slides of the Guarder kit were a lot heavier than plastic TM slides. Is the Guarder slide really thin metal or something? You just want it to be long enough to span the whole window, as wide as possible while still fitting in the hop-up, and tall enough to prevent it from being pulled under the barrel window without being so tall that it can't be adjusted enough to turn it off. It's a matter of trial and error.
Last I checked, guarder uses thin and lightweight aluminum, so it shouldn't weigh much more than the TM. I do think you'll lose a bit of the gas efficiency, but not much. I plan on aluminum sliding all of my high capa's at some point just so I can shoot forever.

Interesting news everyone: That's right, in addition to the SVD, they'll be releasing GBB and AEG versions of their AR's when they come out later this year. [editline]4th March 2012[/editline] PDF warning: http://www.tokyo-marui.co.jp/products/AllLineup2012.pdf Tokyo Marui's lineup for the year, some damn interesting things to be sure.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7UgAt.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VqET7.jpg[/img_thumb] I don't know what else to get for her. What do you guys think she needs?
fucking MPL for $80 and an MP7 for ~$350? Fuck yes.
The MPL is a springer and the MP7 is only $280: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tokyo-marui-mp7a1-full-set-airsoft-aeg.html And TacticalHijack, that pistol need nothing except maybe a super cool 3-hole trigger if you want one.
I do have a filled 5KU trigger, I just need to get it fitted.

Sandpaper block, then steel wool.
What grade steel wool?
Jeez, I'm not sure. I found it under the kitchen sink. You, know, for like pots and stuff.
OKay I have that. I think I'm gonna copy you, k?
Sounds good. But only if you post pics when you're done.
I have MEU grips though, I'm gonna replace them with wood once I pick up a new primary. Having no money sucks.
It does. On a side note, I dunno, wood grips are pretty cheap. I bought mine on ebay.
Maybe I'll pick some up then. But I'm chairsofting hardcore for a while.
