I hate when people try to look cool. Fishing analogy incoming They come to the pond, get drunk, trash the pond, scare off all the fish, go home empty handed, go to a store and buy a living fish, take photos and put it up on fishing forums and show off. [editline]13th March 2012[/editline]
are you high have you even used ghillie in a night game? do you even own ghillie? have you even seen it used effectively? [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] god you remind me of those people that think hispeedlodrag is the best and winning is everything in airsoft with those people with guns that shoot over 90000 rpm and all they wear are multicam chest rigs and running shoes
What, it's just not very practical on 3 day games.Obviously it's good in the night since your sight is already f'd.But you wouldn't use it all the time.
actually ghillie works more than you think, even during the day; also bullshit on the showing off; look at: every single magazine there is, 99% of the photos will be showing off something, I'm pretty sure it's human nature to show off, and you have some retarded houdini voodoo hipster mindset that ~showing off so uncool losers club~
I don't think you understood that analogy.
imean, showing off gets annoying when people are in your face but why really give a fuck about showing off? heck, some people collect gear because they enjoy collecting gear, and they show that shit so people that like to collect can discuss; rather I find it ironic that you're in your face about hateing people who show off because most cases we're not in your face about it
Luckily, it's only on the American side of airsoft. We don't have that here, in Latvia.
showing off isn't restricted to nationality (im canadian and we have people like that here too btw), there's people like that in latvia too probably
imean, showing off gets annoying when people are in your face but why really give a fuck about showing off? heck, some people collect gear because they enjoy collecting gear, and they show that shit so people that like to collect can discuss; rather I find it ironic that you're in your face about hateing people who show off because most cases we're not in your face about it
You're still not getting it. I am talking about the assholes that come to airsoft just to show off, get killed all the time, annoy people, play light retads, cheat and you can figure the rest yourself.
yes I get that analogy and hence my reply and I think it's safe to assume you hate people who show off because it gets on your nerves but that's like hating milkandcooki because he likes furry shit
showing off isn't restricted to nationality (im canadian and we have people like that here too btw), there's people like that in latvia too probably
Haven't seen anyone. We seriously don't have that here.
imean yes, if they get in your face, anything is annoyimg but the way you word your posts make it seem like ifap does that to you all the time, which I never liked about your posts [editline]lol[/editline] and hence, you heavily remind me of Jat when he flipped his shit
imean yes, if they get in your face, anything is annoyimg but the way you word your posts make it seem like ifap does that to you all the time, which I never liked about your posts
Or maybe because i am writing in my 3rd language ?
Or maybe because i am writing in my 3rd language ?
or maybe because you passively rant about it in every other post? it doesn't take a detective, looking at your posts to understand the overall point and feeling behind your posts; what's the point covering it anyway, you said you don't like people who show off like, 5 posts ago, and plus you seem to be passively agressive when someone brings up loadout and gear
I've only ranted in the recent ones.
Ok what does that prove? Your rants feels rather irrational based on your posts you've got this message across: "people (geardos) who show off are a waste of space in airsoft because they weigh themselves in gear and die and they get in your face about it" now you're kinda pushing it onto us (we do show off our gear but we don't mention what loadout we have every 5 posts), which is kinda weird onto where you got this idea because you mentioned earlier Latvian players don't do this also you're generalizing a lot

ok, just to be fair I'll give a personal example: I used to generally not like weeaboos (I really didn't) because most of the time they will attempt to shove down their fandom in my face and they use broken Japanese and shit on my face about how Japan is the best country ever, BUT that doesn't mean I'll go into fast anime, call out anyone who likes anime, and passively critisize their hobbies, and on top of that I now have quite a few weeb friends who also like different things I like too; I finally figured I'd judge people individually because if I generalize and shit on everyone's face about watching cutesy girly cartoons, I wouldn't have the friends now and sound like an asshole as well as generalizing and being irrational [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] tl;dr: judge fellow people as a person, not a group [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] I dunno if its because I'm drunk as hell now but I just wanted to bring that up because it'll make you more likeable as a person, and I can't stand seeing close minded people because it made me an asshole once too
Kill don't you have anime wall scrolls all over your room?
I have orange camo in my room. It looks like shit.

About this whole practicality v. showing off thing, think about it, in airsoft it's seriously more practical to run around in sweatpants and a hoodie with a giant hicap and an extra mag shoved in your pocket. So yes, airsoft loadouts are mostly about looks, you pick a camo based on what you like, you pick a gun based on what you like, and webbing/LBE based on what you like. i.e. I like Swedish M90 camouflage, so I bought M90. At the ranges airsoft takes place at camouflage has very limited effect, so it really doesn't matter what camo I use. I like the FNC, so I bought one. On the inside it's literally an airsoft M4/M16 but with unique externals, it isn't any more effective, but I like how it looks. tl;dr if everyone was hell-bent on being completely practical, the game would be p. boring. And I mean, do you think it's practical for real soldiers to carry around all the shit they do? They're who we're emulating.
you swedes are crazy motherfuckers, but you're cool as hell
You get what the numbers are? :v:
You get what the numbers are? :v:
birthday plus something else at the end?
Yeah, a Checksum
It's terribly ironic, people who are anti-excess gear and think you're an idiot for having one ounce more than you need (it's "wannabe") look awful and out of place with their good-to-go high speed kits and defeat the entire purpose of airsoft: the whole immersion/realism thing (if it weren't at least related to this, we wouldn't have realistic knockoffs of real-world firearms would we?). Sure, you win every time, but you look like a moron and missed the whole point and would be better off doing paintball. If you're going to show up with no gear at all except a JG G36 and two hi-caps, you should "get in character" if it's a serious game and at least attempt to pass yourself off as something reasonable other than a leet pubstar in real life. I'm building some vaguely realistic impressions just because the average game here looks like a paintball nightmare. While people are busy being high-speed and not calling their hits because they're too fast for my BBs, I'm busy getting into character, looking a thousand times more professional, and generally enjoying myself more than they ever will. And I still play well even with one or two extra "unnecessary" items. It just seems to defeat the whole purpose of an organized skirmish to show up and look like you're not even trying.
multicam operators vs gook [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] latvian operators vs gook
Multicam? Dood, the burnt cheese pizza AOR1 is the in stuff now.
honestly, the m203 upper handguard looks awesome without an m203 under it.
Kill don't you have anime wall scrolls all over your room?
exactly my point I like anime but hate weeaboos I like airsoft but hate geardos
I just lost the tiny spring that goes in the tube that clicks the safety into place. I'm done, I give up. So close too.
