LCT Ak74m.... is it any good? http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=LCT-AEG-AK74MNNV&search=special&rs=LCT%20ak&catid=&cat=
externally LCT are fucking great, not too sure about internals though
Internally LCT uses a CYMA gearbox
so it's not bad because cyma internals are fairly decent iirc
the only thing i dont like about the LCT (on the AKM at least, might be ok on the 74M), is the pistol grip is shitty plastic but you can fit a real pistol grip on them with little modification so im planning on getting one
this is fairly tempting I sort of want that now because it's only about $100~$150 more than a cyma or dboys but it's probably a better product also I thought realsteel pistol grips on aks are slimmer??
also I thought realsteel pistol grips on aks are slimmer??
It is. Idk what stupideye is talking about
oh yeah i forgot, i have the GHK AKM which uses a LCT kit but its probably a custom one or something since it has the slim pistol grip. either way im sure you could swap it out with something better if its bad
ooo, can you put a ak74 lct kit on the ghk akm????????
im not sure how that would work actually, i would think so
cool makes me wanna get a ghk akm so I can convert it to a 74
1 more day then my stuff gets here woop woop

I dunno how their new guns are internally, but externally they break down like a Dboy\ real steel would.
exactly my point I like anime but hate weeaboos I like airsoft but hate geardos
Whats your definition of Geardo? Aren't you technically a geardo? You spend hundreds of dollars on Rossia gears
Whats your definition of Geardo? Aren't you technically a geardo? You spend hundreds of dollars on Rossia gears
I think he means geardo as in person who spends thousands of dollars on Crye Precision shit and is afraid to get it dirty.
Whats your definition of Geardo? Aren't you technically a geardo? You spend hundreds of dollars on Rossia gears
i was giving an example to why itsjustguy's rant was irrational because he generalized geardos like how I did to weebs when I was a kid never said i hated geardos if thats what you're trying to make
-snip can't read i'm stoopid-
Actually you DID say you hated geardos
read my tldr argument on the last page; don't quote my small example at the end and take it out of context [editline]faggot[/editline] tldr if you didn't read it: itsjustguy: geardos are stupid because they spend loads for gear and brag about it etcetc me: you're overgeneralizing a group of people you've never met irl, its stupid because thats like me hating on all weebs in general even though I like anime and they do too, it's annoying if they rub it in your face but there's cool people too, so sod off, your rant is stupid
[editline]13th March 2012[/editline] trollface.jpg
I like how ossum did the exact same thing 45 minutes ago
He snipped it I have no idea what he did.
quoted the exact same thing and posted a short reply
LCT is one of those Taiwanese brands; think of their external build quality to be like a G&G or G&P. Except these guys specialize in AKs, not ARs.
LCT is one of those Taiwanese brands; think of their external build quality to be like a G&G or G&P. Except these guys specialize in AKs, not ARs.
way higher then g&g, more like real sword
way higher then g&g, more like real sword
I've only ever fondled one, and it was an RPK, haha. I've never touched a Real Sword.
Oh how i want a support gun, but what to choose... RPK, M60vn, Mk.43, L86... Gahhhhh
Oh how i want a support gun, but what to choose... RPK, M60vn, Mk.43, L86... Gahhhhh
Of the ones you listed, only the M60VN and Mk43 are 'true' support weapons in that they have very high capacities and the ability to lay down continuous fire. L86s, RPKs, and other magazine-fed machine guns are limited by the need for changing magazines and keeping hicaps wound up, both of which make it harder to keep an area suppressed for long periods of time, and necessitate buying lots of magazines. The A&K MGs are cheap, but not great to start with, with the absolute weakest points being the hop-up and motor. Replace the hop-up bucking and nub, and replace the motor (a piece of cake, it's a very easy gearbox to work on) and you get a highly effective MG with very good reliability and durability for just the price of the gun plus about $45 of parts. It does come down to what you want to do. If you want to run around as an infantryman with your squad, and just have the capacity to put out lots of full auto when you need it, an RPK, L86, or MG36 might be a better choice as they're a lot lighter, are more ergonomic, and have the convenience of being compatible with standard magazines. If you want a dedicated support weapon, though, an M249 or M60 is a better choice IMO. The only gun I would advise you stay away from is the A&K M249. Like the M60 it's easy to upgrade, but from what I've seen it suffers on a couple of the strong points of the M60. Where the M60's box mag is ridiculously reliable and simple to use, the 249's is prone to jamming and has issues with its microphone. There are also problems with the trigger switches getting caught in the gears, and cosmetic issues. It's not a terrible gun overall, but aesthetics aside there's not much reason to take it over the M60 given its drawbacks. You know, at this point I'm thinking we should maybe have a thread/guide about support gunning. What do you guys think?
Do it, I've always wanted to get into the support fire role, or even be a-gunner for one of my buddies. Read up on a couple of threads from different forums, would be nice to have our own thread.
we need to make one
Defiantly would be of use.
